We love board games in our family, especially Monopoly and Cluedo, I bought a commemorative edition of Monopoly years ago which comes in a tin, has metal pieces and wooden houses, but this Frozen edition sounds as if it would be a hit with young fans of that film.

It helps children to learn addition, subtraction and the value of money with simple one pound notes and properties and rents between 1 and 5 pounds.

The game pieces are nice enough, but the money is a little tricky to handle at first, because the sheets stick together. Of course, your kids may fight over which character they want to be like Anna or Elsa but, they will love playing with money and it is hours of entertainment. You play the game in the same as the original version of Monopoly Junior, but the board is with an Arendelle and Frozen character theme.

If a player draws a snowflake chance card, they can place it on any property, whoever lands there is stuck and loses their next turn.
