Honestly I love the dynamics of the friendship of the girls of King of Sin, the same as the dynamics of the girls in Twisted series. This shows that not all girl friendship is toxic. I still rate it two stars, so it's not like I completely hated it. I really liked that they grew and became rich together. They went from bankrupt students to a couple of billionaires. At least Dominic did it because Alessandra's family wasn't broke. There were also some good quotes here. Honestly, I'd rather read a book about them being young and falling in love than about whatever happened here. I love the fact that there was this scene where a couple from Twisted series were there. I admit, I kinda giggled when I found out it was them. the cover of chef’s kiss anyway. and the summary is as well. When Alessandra finally brings Dominic to his knees, I will die laughing. Dominic has caused a lot of pain, and I pray he finds a way to make amends. Although I doubt it’s feasible, it would be fantastic to see Dominic Davenport out-grovel Alex Volkov. I loved this one! From Dom and Ale’s story to catching up with Dante, Vivian, Isabella, Kai and Sloane.
I have been anticipating this book since King of Wrath. The distance you witnessed because Dom and Ale ealier in the series always left me wondering. So when I heard they would have a book, I was excited!I loved these two! Dom is the self-made billionaire who came from nothing. Ale is a young woman finding out that she needs to have her own personal goals and it’s beautiful to see her grow into herself and stand up for what she needs. Also, ❝Where is my wife?❞ dialogue was so freaking badly written! 💀 I thought it would be angsty, or Dominic would be saying this to Dante or Kai after Alessandra ran to Viv/Isa's house, just like Stella did in Twisted Lies. But he shouted this at his freaking HOUSEKEEPER! 🤡🤡 #JusticeForCamila I want my greed to be for you love, your laughter, and our life together. I can’t bear to be parted from you. Please Ále, will you be my wife?” Dominic Davenport: The protagonist, Dominic, is a powerful and ambitious figure who has climbed his way to becoming the King of Wall Street. Everyone probably thought Dominic and Alessandra Davenport had the perfect life and the perfect relationship. They were both gorgeous and had everything money could buy, because Dominic was a self-made and very successful CEO and owner of the biggest financial institution in New York. Yet after ten years of marriage Alessandra felt abandoned in favor of Dominic’s real mistress which was his success. It seemed he was never happy with what he had and his empire seemed to do its best when Dominic was micromanaging it.
It isn’t until she’s gone that he realizes there may be more to life than riches and glory…but by then, it may be too late. Teddy Hamilton did an amazing job. He got the easier part as he is an American who learns a hard language, so a heavy accent is expected, acceptable and forgivable. He does have trouble with a couple of tongue twister for non-natives! But all in all, well done, sir! Dominic and Alessandra have been married for ten years. They fall madly in love years ago, and it seemed like a fairytale. Poor at first, but Dominic worked very hard. And now Dominic is known as the King of Wall street, and Alessandra is the perfect wife. But for years now Dominic has put his work before Alé. And one night, when Alé finds herself yet again waiting for her husband that has forgotten about her, she’s had enough. It’s time to leave her life behind and start over.

I also, don’t know what to say about Alessandra. She was a rich wifey (I mean, good for her), she had a pressed flowers business and didn't even try to make her ex-husband work for it, because she ran to bang him every chance she got. She actually made the right decision by remarrying him because I don't think her "Etsy shop turned pressed flower boutique" business will keep her afloat for long. Alé loved Dom, that wasn't the issue but she hadn't been his priority in a long time. The final straw came when she was stood up on their 10yr wedding anniversary. It drove her to do something she never saw in the cards. She called it quits on their marriage and walked out leaving nothing but her ring behind. KING OF GREED's exclusive editions have been revealed! Both come with a bonus letter from me, and the B&N has gold foiling as well. overall, this isn’t a terrible book, i’m being honest here. i didn’t hate it. i enjoyed a few things — like for example the writing and the brazilian representation. however, if i had zero expectations for this, i think i would be able to enjoy it more. but since i had high expectations... it didn’t end well. there’s also the fact that i expected something very different (a lot of people did actually) so i guess it’s partially my fault. i’m happy for those who enjoyed it though, at least some people are satisfied. This book was good with just a few issues. I am hoping to start getting into reading again because reading this book made me realize my need and love for reading. It isn't until she's gone that he realizes there may be more to life than riches and glory...but by then, it may be too late. He has everything--a beautiful home, a beautiful wife, and more money than he could spend in a lifetime. But no matter how much he accumulates, he's never satisfied. With chestnut har, blue-gray eyes, and tanned skin, Brazilian Alessandra Ferreira turned Davenport only wanted one thing: for her husband to love her as much as he did his work. King of Greed’ was another great read I loved and devoured. These characters will definitely stay with me for a long time to come. And yet again, I can’t wait to read for the next book in this series. It will be hard to top this one for sure. In ‘King of Greed’ we finally get to read the story of Dominic and Alessandra. I’ve been looking forward to read their story ever since I read a little bit about them in the previous book in this series. And let me tell you.. This book was even better than I expected.
