Nighthaunt armies are known as "processions." Fear runs before them as tangible as the unnatural mist that rises from the ground wherever they pass. The air grows chill and then, from out of nowhere they come, riding on the wind. They surge over the land like a phantasmal tide. Those entities known as Nighthaunts are incorporeal Undead that possess far greater animus and influence than troublesome poltergeists or apparitions of mourning.

So great was her appeal that she wound her way upwards, winning the hearts of nobles and then, eventually, the Dolorum prince himself. Her betrothal to the future king ended on the very night when the prince and his father, the high king, disappeared. In their absence, she became the ruler of Dolorum. [1b] Much more diversity in artefacts here, 3 tables with 6 weapons, 6 relics and 3 lanterns which are exclusively used by Guardian of Souls. Weapons of the Damned Allegiance Ability: Unrelenting Taskmaskers – There is a lot going on here but the short version is Chainrasps and Glaivewrath Stalkers get rerolls on all failed hits for being near Spirit Torments or Chainghasts. Chainrasps and Glaivewrath Stalkers also gain an extra d6 restored slain models when Spectral Lure or Temportal Translocation is used on them. Given how easy it is to restore dead Chainrasps this is going to be obnoxious to put up with and support an actually already good unit. To get the most out of this players will need to be very careful about keeping units within fairly close proximity to each other, which can be a bit to manage, and watch for players trying to rip the seams of their army’s support.Those that dare to study the forbidden arts of death magic -- curious wizards, wayward apprentices and would-be necromancers -- generally accept that there are three main ways to create Undead.

Lady Olynder helps your army do what it does best – grind the enemy down through attritional warfare. You’ll win with Nighthaunt not by shattering your opponent in a single turn, but by playing the long game, using your units’ inherent resilience, not to mention abilities that sustain and heal them, to outlast your enemies. In the Agents of Be’lakor team, each warband must share a daemon faction runemark, while the Emerald Host is made up of Nighthaunt and Soulblight Gravelords (allowing you to use those new fighter cards straight away). I have 2 possible builds with Lady Olynder as my general that I will be trying out. They are both very similar. The only difference being the exchange of 8 Glaivewraith stalkers for 1 Spirit Torment.All such spirits suffer an ironic punishment, as the god of the dead is inflicting a penance upon them for crimes they committed in life, either real or perceived. So, for instance, a criminal in life seeking escape from imprisonment through death may find himself in undeath still bound by spiritual chains. The studio team did a great job increasing his board presence by raising his Wounds, Movement, and combat prowess while still retaining his iconic trait, The Dark Master.
