About this deal

Using the screen as a computer, your screen options are limited to Standard and Dynamic. Results are similar to their equivalents when the monitor is being used as a TV. Cliff notes: if you want moderately realistic-looking colours, use the Standard setting. Availability limited to source devices which support 21:9 output.* May function differently depending on game or content being viewed.

Grade B devices are priced to reflect the used condition, and therefore offer great value especially compared to a Grade A or New devices. This grade is typically ideal for people looking for a great value product, but do not mind there being some signs of previous use or some minor scuffs or marks. Expand your viewing options through a wealth of additional Smart channels with Samsung TV Plus. Watch subscription free content with on-air and catch-up services including BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4 and My5. Charges apply for premium on-demand content. In short, this means you’ll get access to a solid application library full of pretty much all the streaming apps you’d want and a wealth of cool features for Samsung smartphone users. On-screen content simulated for demonstration purpose.* Microsoft 365 requires Microsoft account.* Wireless DeX supported on selected Galaxy, Note, and Tab devices.* Windows 10 Pro, Mac OS 10.5, or higher, and compatible network settings are required for this feature. Astonishing picture quality for work and play. With 4x the pixels of Full HD, the Smart Monitor delivers more screen space and amazingly life-like UHD images. By day, see more documents at once. And, in the evening, watch movies in cinematic 4K quality. However, for generalists the Smart Monitor M7’s smart TV capabilities and ease of use more than make up for this. It comes with the same Tizen operating system seen on all Samsung Smart TVs, offering an equivalently excellent user experience to the one I experienced testing the Samsung UE50TU8500 and Samsung UE43TU7100 – which both earned places as two of our recommended best cheap TVs at the time. Turn your Smart Monitor into a control center for the home by connecting it to your IoT home products with SmartThings. Relax by turning off the lights, pulling down the blinds and setting the thermostat to the perfect temperature all with the Smart Monitor for a perfectly relaxed evening.

Everything you need is right on your screen. Watch, work and chat - all without connecting a separate PC - with Smart Monitor. Your favourite content, productivity and video call apps are built-in for a simpler and stylish desk setup that’s a joy to use every time. Experience PC-less. Browse the web, edit documents and work on projects, all without the need for a separate PC. With new Workmode, you can also remotely access another PC, use Microsoft 365 programs and even connect to Samsung mobile devices with Samsung DeX for seamless working. Contrast ratios and max brightness levels also peaked at around the 250-nit mark, which is standard for most non-specialist monitors of this size. A nit is a measurement of light; a single unit equates to the brightness of one candle. For Galaxy phone owners, DeX is another neat perk. This is a nifty feature that lets you turn your phone into a portable computer using the Smart Monitor. Specifically, it throws up a desktop-like view onto the monitor when you connect any compatible Galaxy smartphone via a cable, or wirelessly using the Samsung phone’s preinstalled DeX setting.

Expand your experiences. The newly added Gaming Hub means this versatile display allows you to watch movies, work and even play games with just a monitor. Access, browse and stream a wide selection of games just turn on your Smart Monitor and play with no PC or console needed. If you’re short on space then the Samsung Smart Monitor M7 offers great versatility as a result of its ability to work as a PC monitor and fully functioning smart TV. The TV’s speakers are suitably capable for casual movie-watching, particularly if you’re in a small room. They don’t have the maximum volume needed to offer a truly immersive experience if you’re sitting further away. However, sat in front of the monitor in my home office, they offered suitable heft and quality to let me watch Gilmore Girls over lunch without issue. The low-end, although a little weaker than expected, is also suitably controlled. Sibilance, too, is contained; it doesn’t rear its ugly head unless you approach the monitor’s maximum volume setting.
