About this deal

So, you can finally take care of your soccer ball for many months to come, which without a doubt will save you time and money as won’t be searching for and buying a replacement any time soon. Training balls are developed to need less maintenance, and to be used for extensive periods of time. Whether it be the Primero or the Impel, the Mitre training ball range are season-long performers, and will become part of the team. A 32 panel construction offers a durable ball, as it helps maintain the shape of the ball for longer. We also offer features in our training balls that even the professionals have. The Primero offers excellent performance – being used as the training ball of choice for the SPFL teams last season. The Impel has a soft-touch outer, this adds comfort to the foot when passing or controlling, and really helps increase confidence in younger players. And the Calcio is engineered with Hyperseam – technology which has been scientifically tested to improve accuracy, speed and power. Bonded seams mean this ball has zero water uptake, perfect for those cold and wet winter nights. The IMS Approved Mitre Ultimatch Plus match football is a direct replacement for previous versions of the Ultimatch. To clarify the 2017 version of the Ultimatch is now known as the Ultimatch Plus.

To say this Mitre Delta Match football is a base level Pro quality match football is a surprise but this is a direct replacement for the Mitre Element and Mitre Max footballs. This FIFA Pro Quality ball is available in sizes 4 and 5, it uses the latest technology to produce one on Mitre's best match balls. The latest graphics are used on this exclusive 14 panel construction, which gives the player a consistent striking power transfer through the ball. As always, the UCL ball comes with FIFA’s Quality Pro stamp of approval, but it also gets the deserved accolade of a place in our best lineup. The Mitre Ultimatch ball uses the best qualities of the Hyperseam technology and is now their base level match ball. The Ultimatch is being rebranded as the Mitre Ultimatch One and we shall be phasing these new balls in as they arrive. The size 5 white model is now the new design in Ultimatch One.

Please note the previous Mitre Ultimatch balls for 2018 are now known as the Mitre Ultimatch Plus and are IMS approved in size 5. The 2019 Mitre Ultimatch IS NOT IMS approved. But I don’t think there’s anything better than being able to effectively troubleshoot problems with your soccer ball and fix them yourself! I can safely say that the Impel Max is a good choice for those lengthy and intense training sessions that demand all sorts of actions from players.

The panels on the Pro Void are thermally bonded, in comparison to the traditional stitching method, which helps to reduce water intake and ensure a more predictable flight. Along with these seamless panels, the ball features a texture pattern of tiny stars across the outer for improved control and a consistent first touch – always a plus – as well as a laminated butyl rubber bladder to guarantee long-lasting shape retention.

Key specs – Surface: Grass and astroturf; Outer material: Synthetic leather/rubber/cotton/polyester; Bladder material: Latex; Panels: 4 The IMS Approved Mitre Calcio Match Plus match football is a great alternative for the Ultimatch Plus with the only difference being the graphic The new V12 Match balls get the balance right with the number of panel used in construction. Too many panels will give the ball a stable shape but this means that the amount of stitching is increased. An increase in the amount of stitching can reduce the speed of the ball. Fewer panels will make the ball more aerodynamic, but this can be at the detriment of losing shape.

Launched in 2018, the new range of Mitre footballs now includes variations on the popular Impel training football. This ball is the Mitre Impel Plus and is designed to replace the Malmo+ and the Primero balls. The Impel Plus is a mid entry training football and is available in white/orange or yellow/orange. Both colours are available in sizes 3, 4 and 5. For example, the Mitre Delta has 1.2 millimetres of polyurethane outer material whereas the Delta Plus model comes in with a measurement of 1.4 millimetres. Developed for the use of the best players in the world, the finely-tuned Nike Flight offers precision and accuracy for consistent performance. Companies are often guilty of using such buzzwords to entice consumers into buying things and I’m almost certain that Mitre had the same aim here. This ball is Mitre's mid level match ball suitable for clubs and schools. The Calcio Match Plus is available in size 4 & 5 and has a striking Blue/White Graphic. This ball is still constructed using the revolutionary Hyperseam technology and will not take on water, making it one of the best value match balls around. As the quality improves through the range so does the outer cover, on the Calcio Match Plus ball the outer is enhanced to an impressive 1mm PU outer which gives the user enhanced durability and improved feel.

On to more important things, the ball is specifically designed for youngsters who are aiming to progress from competing at a junior level. At the heart of the beautiful game is grassroots football. Mitre is firmly embedded in grassroots, and our range has that at the front of mind when developing products. For your local club you’d usually need two types of football – a training ball and a match ball. You’ll have seen that Mitre tend to promote three distinct tiers for each ball that they sell – the standard, plus and max ranges. If you are looking for cheap size 5 training footballs, we would recommend the Mitre Impel or the Precision Fusion balls. These are both great quality balls at affordable prices. For a higher quality training ball, the Mitre Impel Plus and Impel Max are the perfect choice. The textured outer layer is manufactured from the very best 1.5mm Japanese Microfibre PU which covers the 4.5mm dual hyperfoam. The dual hyperfoam layer is imbedded with a rubber lamination which is able to convert the power of pass or shot into kinetic energy for boosted power and speed. Increased durability through a PU outer material to resist constant use and offer superb performance - it'll become part of the squad. Engineered with revolutionary Hyperseam™ technology for almost zero water uptake, helping the ball last in any weather - great choice for grassroot clubs. You also need to consider what the bladder inside is made of. Latex is used in premium balls to provide a softer feel, but latex bladders require frequent inflation. Cheaper balls use heavier materials such as butyl that might not feel quite as good on the foot, but will stay inflated for months at a time. How much do I need to spend? But the reason why I included it is because it does the job of being a reliable ball that a person can really depend on when they’re out on the pitch working towards becoming a better soccer player.
