About this deal

The Ibanez Chorus Mini is smaller than most other options featured here and is known for its deep dimensional sound. When set at the proper rate and depth settings, the Chorus Mini is capable of approximating the sound of a well-recorded Leslie speaker. Jim Dunlop acquired the MXR brand in 1987 and continues the pedal line of original MXR classics, such as the Phase 90 and Dyna Comp, as well as modern pedals like the Carbon Copy and Fullbore Metal. Dunlop has also added a line dedicated to bass effects boxes, MXR Bass Innovations, which has released the Bass Octave Deluxe and Bass Envelope Filter. Both pedals won Editor Awards in Bass Player Magazine and Platinum Awards from Guitar World Magazine. The MXR Custom Shop is responsible for recreations of vintage models such as the hand-wired Phase 45, as well as doing limited runs of pedals such as the Custom Comp. Therefore it requires more foresight than just adjusting the rate and depth controls to achieve your desired sound. It features a beautiful sound quality with a three-dimensional depth and full body. The Electro-Harmonix Eddy Analog Vibrato and Chorus features classic analog chorus/vibrato effects with rich textures and depth that are commonly found on vintage or boutique pedals.

The first period is known as the "Script period," in reference to the cursive logo on the case. The earliest script logo pedals were made in the basement shop of the MXR founders [5] and the logos were silk screened. These very first pedals can be identified by a slightly larger font "MXR" on the case.

The BOSS effects in one. It features the sound of the CE-1 (a true standard setter for analog chorus stompboxes) and the CE-2. Nowadays, most choruses are digital, which carries with it the usual tradeoff of increased flexibility at the expense of often more clinical tones. However, this isn't a given; not only are some digital effects rich and warm, but others emulate vintage units for a specific tone, like the Strymon Deco's tape machine modeling. The CE-1 Chorus Ensemble was the first BOSS pedal, and its original sound is still sought after by some detail-oriented guitarists today, 40 years after it was released. MXR is a New York–based manufacturer of effects pedals from Rochester. The company was co-founded in 1972 by Keith Barr and Terry Sherwood [1] [2] and incorporated as MXR Innovations, Inc. in 1974. The MXR trademark is now owned by Jim Dunlop. The Way Huge Smalls Blue Hippo Analog Chorus is a reduced version of the original Blue Hippo MkIII chorus, but has the same features, in a reduced space that is more pedalboard-friendly.

Additionally, the Julia V2 features a fully continuous blend control that dials between dry, chorus, and vibrato sounds as well as true bypass switching that preserves your tone when the effect is switched off. This pedal was famously used by Kurt Cobain as his main chorus unit and you can hear in the grunge anthem Come As You Are (you know the sound!)Few companies have achieved the well-regarded reputation among guitarists that Ibanez has. This respect and admiration that most guitarists have for this brand goes well beyond guitars and extends into pedals as well.

The MXR M234 Analog Chorus features a five-control layout with Low and High EQ controls, Level, Rate, and Depth for maximum flexibility. A few years ago BOSS launched a premium line of redesigned guitar effects under the label Waza, which means art and technique in Japanese. Waza Craft pedals are aimed to be idealized versions of the originals, offering the same sonic character but with less noise and a more consistent tone. Additionally, this pedal features a buffered bypass and an included 9.6-volt power supply (the pedal does not operate on batteries). The Lag control determines how much swing each LFO sweep has. When combined with the Depth control, the Lag knob is capable of taking you into a new realm of sound-shaping possibility. The CE-2W Waza Craft pedal features a slightly clearer treble, but the textures, tones, and character, as well as the rate and depth settings, are identical to the original CE-2. In short, this is an analog chorus pedal that recreates the originals, all in one single stompbox. 2. Way Huge Smalls Blue Hippo Analog Chorus The Small Clone features rich, spacey, and fully analog tones that have made it one of the most popular chorus pedals for over 20 years. Features On the other hand, the Rate knob adjusts the speed of the chorus and its presence in the mix. The more you crank it, the more prominent and more swirly will the effect and the tone become.
