He lies in wait secretly, as a lion in his den; He lies in wait to catch the poor; He catches the poor when he draws him into his net. I am here, God, to ask you to help me fight this battle. Give me the armor of Christianity, where I carry your sword of Godly wisdom, a shield of faith, a breastplate of grace, and a helmet of God’s love. Please help me to strengthen this armor of God and battle this evil eye that’s causing misfortunes in my life.
