About this deal

When I first sprayed on Paradiso, I immediately thought, "You look so familiar." Now that's not meant as a judgment at all, but you know when you smell something and immediately think, I've smelled that before? That's what happened to me with this one. It has not left me in peace ... So I searched the internet until I came across it (I think it was even here)

Paradiso is the key to a parallel world embraced by a secret garden in a magnificent villa nestled on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. A tantalising prelude of crisp citrus notes blend with those of warm exotic bergamot and sweet mandarin. A fresh and sparkling head gives way to a subtle heart of wild jasmine. The base note of the fragrance boasts a rich and delicate accord of cypress, oleander and Mediterranean pine trees. A refined accord of Italian aromas extend and intensify the hypnotic effect of the jasmine generating a persistent woody base note. After weeks of wearing rather heavy perfumes, Paradiso is a welcome change. But the fragrance will unfold best in warmer temperatures. The flacon I also find super pretty, only the lid is perhaps a bit clunky, which could possibly disturb in the handbag, but overall the flacon looks really noble?

What I like even more about Paradiso is that it doesn't have that prominent lavender note like Libre, something I had to get used to with Libre. Paradiso is thereby at the beginning clearly softer than Libre. Someone wrote that this fragrance totally reminds me of YSL Libre and I can really agree with that. They're not identical, of course, but they definitely have the same vibe, especially in the opening. Roberto Cavalli Paradiso was designed to enhance the joie de vivre. An uplifting and stimulating fragrance, it radiates delight and happiness. A resounding ode to sensuality and seduction, it encourages us to seize the moment and fully enjoy the pleasures of this earthly paradise. The Roberto Cavalli Paradiso woman exudes charm, glee and brightness. She is optimistic and has a sunny disposition. She makes the most of life and transforms every occasion into a precious opportunity to be savoured and treasured. She understands that style and glamour are, more than a posture, a true way of life. But it felt like eternities ago that you could get clever advice in the perfumery - with a big scent sample. So I simply let myself be convinced of his inner qualities. If it is supposed to be a paradise, then it should be a Mediterranean one. I could imagine summer holidays in Tuscany like this - although I have never been there before. Azzurro is then also heaven at most. No sea breeze in sight. I love the top and heart note of the fragrance. The fragrance starts very citric, which I find refreshing. The following jasmine is intense, but for me it feels very summery and somehow "wet". This gives me the direct association of lying in the pool in heat and sunshine. This heart note stays for quite a while, but then unfortunately the base note follows, which I don't like at all. I suddenly have the feeling that I am sitting in a forest with thousands of cypresses and pines. These scents are there from the very beginning, but they are discreetly integrated. This slightly woody one at the beginning I like very much, but in the base note I only smell the forest and it smells very harsh and masculine on me. The badly rated durability here surprises me, because the scent lingers bombastically with me. I can still smell it or the base note after 12 hours. This is of course unfavorable in my case, because I don't like the base note as much as the part before it. Those who have already spent their holidays in the south of France at the Atlantic coast know the special flair of the trees there. And now in retrospect I can say that no scent would have greeted me there better than this one.
