They have instantaneous lust and longing for each other which is complicated by him being her professor and also because of a fellow student who wants to be more than friends with Penny as well. Both throw caution to the wind and enter into a relationship. And now, my lovely Penny!!! I have to admit that my most objections were about her and her attitude. and a fairly sizable age gap... Speaking of which, Penny has allowed her professor to assume she's a senior, and two years older than she actually is...Wow you have no idea how much i adore forbidden romances and a theme like professor/student drew me immediately. Well this one particularly was a roller-coaster of emotions, hot scenes and really enjoyable,interesting play between our two main characters. And yep, i was feeling this nervousness while i was reading this story, but i was catching myself to enjoy it very much!!! Penny and James nearly splitting up because of •Isabella trying sabotaging them - I cried like a baby I enjoyed reading this book. It was an easy read. The characters were great and the storyline flowed and developed well. I started this series after I read the first 3 book of the Empire High series, but before Matchmaker. And I am severely disappointed.

Book 1: Boring and innocent but beautiful college girl crushes on her professor. Professor lusts after dull college girl who is terrible at public speaking but is also super duper hot (all the boys want Penny) and makes all of her speeches about how much she wants him to give it to her. The Hunted series might be a case of 'The Right Book at the Right Time'. I enjoyed the story despite the fact that it's outside of my usual tastes. The hunger in his eyes was a temptation I could no longer resist. I had been lying to myself this whole time.I wasn't a good girl. I was bad. I had already determined that the series was worth exploring, but once we hit that glorious moment of sexiness, I was hooked!

Penny & James try to deny their feelings but it is an insta lust that turns into insta love has them not being able to keep their hands off of each other. James gives into Penny "one time" but finds himself not wanting to give her up, even if that means his job is on the line. Meanwhile Penny is fighting with her morals, she loves James but wouldn't life be easier if she just dated a boy her own age? So, Penny was highly annoying and James was bleh. Don't get me wrong, he had his moments, but I felt he was more developed as a secondary character in the Empire High books, than he was in his own series. By Addiction, we're still fairly in the dark about Isabella's craziness and James' past addiction. Had I not already had that prior knowledge, I wouldn't have been sold on any of it. I want to be able to move on. I need to be able to move on. A lezione la guardava con interesse e mostrava genuino coinvolgimento per i suoi interventi, anche se palesemente impacciati. This is the complete four-book The Hunted series, which is James and Penny’s story. Fans will find new material here in a brand new and exclusive bonus 16,000-word epilogue. I rate the overall series 4.5 stars. I liked that she was such a good friend for Penny and she was taking care after her, but i didn't liked that she was so insisted in other matters... I think that her insistence was complicating the things for Penny even more... In the final installment, we see different sides to Penny and James which adds a lot of growth to their relationship. Penny became stronger for James’ vulnerability to his addiction. Their relationship survives a lot of ups and downs but by the end they are stronger than ever.I’m entirely self-published, and I love the control that gives me over my stories. But I still believe that a dream partnership with a publisher is out there. One who understands my vision and loves my characters as much as I do. We’ll find each other soon, I just know it. I thought I wanted to marry him. I thought he was the man of my dreams. I thought we'd be happy as soon as we got away from all the rumors. But now? I don't think I ever really knew Professor Hunter. And I can't walk down the aisle until I know the truth. Il professor Hunter era oscuro e tenebroso, ma bello da mozzare il fiato. Era sicuramente un insegnante giovane, ma in ogni caso più grande di lei di alcuni anni. Here again, we have the same drama and bullshit that is just carried over from the last installment, Eruption. This time the conflict isn't necessarily between Penny and James, which is a nice change of pace. They're involved, naturally, but it's not really between them the way it usually is. James' ex wife is still up to her jealous ways and trying to ruin everything.
