About this deal

Maniac (Art blasting Barbara’s head off with a shotgun is a tribute to Tom Savini’s mind-blowing special effects) The gore and murder scenes are insane. This is probably the most violent movie I've ever seen in a theater. It would definitely be NC-17 if the MPAA got ahold of it. No doubt. There is one murder scene in particular that goes on for an incredibly long time and is pretty painful to watch because it's so relentless, sadistic, and violent. While I didn’t enjoy Terrifier 2 very much myself (you can read my 4/10 review HERE), I have been very glad to see an unrated horror movie having so much success in theatres. I’m sure the film’s success is going to continue once it’s available on streaming and physical media.

Sure, it is a long movie, but you won’t notice thanks to the gonzo appeal as this insane clown takes to the streets murdering everyone who utters one line of expository B-grade dialogue. It’s a fascinating watch, guaranteeing a good time for those committed to resurrecting the ghouls of the past for some splatterhouse fun. It's also not particularly scary, although Art and his imaginary friend (it'll make sense when you see it) can be unsettling. The intensity comes from the gore, rather than any tense set pieces. In his free time, Shane loves going for runs and playing with his 16-year-old beagle Butterscotch. Butters for short, she has been the greatest love of his and inspires him everyday, both creatively and emtionally. On top of that, he's now a huge collector. He loves Funko Pop, McFarlane Toys, and Neca's huge line of horror figures. In the last two years he has been going to a lot of conversations to buy an unhealthy amount of figures. This has also allowed him to meet some of his favorite filmmakers/actors like Mike Flanagan, Matthew Lillard, John Carpenter, Grace Caroline Curry, Steve Burns and Kathryn Newton.

Art the Clown may be silent, but the man behind the face paint, David Howard Thornton, is also a voice actor and impressionist. He provides the voice-over for the Art Crispies cereal commercial during the Clown Cafe sequence.

Leone peppered the film with loving homages and references to several of his favorite films, some more overt than others. They include…FIVE NIGHTS in Three Dimensions– FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S takes a two-dimensional game and turns it into a three-dimensional nightmare. Look, there's no getting away from it, Terrifier 2 is absolutely soaked in blood, gore and various body parts. For Art, overkill is just the start and pretty much every murder he commits in the sequel is the cinematic equivalent of The Simpsons"he's already dead" meme. Keri Russell, whose breakthrough role in the college drama Felicity was only two years away at that point, plays a crucial but difficult role in The Lottery . Popular school teacher Felice Dunbar is unlike other New Hopers, who are more standoffish than usual. No, she greets Jason with a warm smile that hides an unpleasant secret. Having grown up in New Hope, Felice naturally believes The Lottery serves a good purpose, but meeting Jason makes her question everything. And for a minute, it would seem Russell’s character is capable of shaking off years worth of indoctrination. Bloody Disgusting and the entire Terrifier team can’t even begin to express our appreciation to all the fans who showed up to see Terrifier 2 in theaters, but we know it wasn’t always playing at a “theater near you.” Despite being digitally captured, even a brief perusal of the screenshots in both this review and the 1080 review should pretty easily reveal that this has
