About this deal

Sodium laurel sulfate (SLS) & sodium laureth sulfate(SLES) -despite being a known eye, skin, and lung irritants, these are found in most products that foam. However, don't buy into today's "leaky gut" hype. Dietary changes can eliminate dermatitis, but eczema and psoriasis are genetic and no amount of dietary change can edit your DNA. I’ve always found dark themes put less strain on my eyes and are easier to scan. Since the Mozilla Dark theme doesn’t change the message list, it’s no-go for me.

It also customises the design of the message box, making all the fields white. While the default Thunderbird theme’s grey and white is a little more user-friendly, I can’t deny it’s minimalist and clean approach works well.

Synthetic colours -the letters c, d, or f followed by a colour or number. Usually petroleum or coal tar derived. But to be honest, Thunderbird 60 comes with many improvements and with the selection of themes above there’s no reason not to upgrade. Do not skimp on the moisturiser. Once you’ve found what works for your skin, use it as often as needed as your skin requires not only a barrier to keep moisture in but a barrier to keep irritants out. Intially, this can mean applying 6 or more times a day (don't worry, it gets better as your barrier repairs itself). Scout moisturises head to toe morning and night. She also carries a Rescue Balm everywhere she goes to top up as necessary.

Ditch the topical steroids and learn about Topical Steroid Withdrawal Syndrome. If you are relying on steroid creams to manage your symptoms, they're not working. Their own manufacturers' instructions state that they should never be used for more than a 2 week period. Healing takes time with healthy, young skin taking a month to fully regenerate. Sadly, this gets longer as you get older and as your skin gets damaged. The customers who have noticed improvement within days are actually a small minority, with most taking weeks, even months to get on top of their skin condition. Managing sensitive skin conditions is definitely a marathon, not a sprint! I recommend giving it another go and reading the article Susie wrote. It's full of advice from us personally dealing with eczema and has helped many people with theirs'. Just remember that healing takes time and a lot of perseverance. Our award winning Repair Balm offers intense hydration and promotes cellular renewal to restore your natural tone, elasticity and radiance with botanicals that have been used for centuries for their reparative properties. That’s why I knew I had to do something about it when every cream on the market (and prescribed!) failed to deliver on its promises. Our Rescue Balm delivers everything your skin needs and wants to calm, soothe, and heal itself.

Give your skin time and patience. Your skin takes 28 days to fully regenerate itself. As we age, this process takes longer. Give your changes time to work. Just because a new treatment hasn't performed a biblical miracle on your skin overnight doesn't mean it isn't working. The longer you have suffered your condition, the deeper the damage is likely to be. Be patient (seriously, give it at least 4 weeks) and give your skin the time it needs to heal itself. It’s misleading and dishonest and I will now have to write it off as there is nothing else I can do but to warn others not to fall for it.

Stop using basic store bought or prescribed soaps and cleansers. Even from so called clean companies until you learn to read the ingredients list. These are often filled with harsh ingredients that will not only strip your skin of its much needed moisture and many are known irritants that will only worsen your skin. Fragrance, colour and texture get prioritised to the detriment of your skin. Remember, arsenic is a natural ingredient but would you want to bathe in it? With the next release of Thunderbird (v61), Mozilla will be rolling out an auto-update to users still on 52. Which makes now a great time to upgrade to your new Firefox Theme. Silicones -you are just cling filming your problems! A cheap ingredient to make the formula and your skin feel silky. It's fine in makeup, but not something to look for in a serum or moisturiser! I did take before and after photos to show yous how genuinely amazing it is and that it does work - and an almost empty tube of the useless Hydrocortisone cream, which I used in the hope it would work - but it never. I have so much to thank Thunderbird for. After battling with lifelong eczema and spending thousands of pounds on every cream and ointment under the sun, I have finally found a natural solution that works for me. I use both the Rescue Cream & Rescue Balm daily and would be truly lost without them now. Redness and dryness has reduced and flare ups can be calmed almost instantly. My skin became so sensitive that irritation seemed to be caused by anything and everything. Within the first few uses of Thunderbird balm, I started to notice my skin calming. I personally use the balm at night for a more intense moisturiser and barrier, but it is not greasy as others can be. I use the cream in the morning and continually throughout the day. It creates a lovely base underneath makeup and is the only cream I have found to work on my hands too. After years of steroid prescriptions and being told I just had to deal with my eczema, I now have hope. I am 5 months steroid free and steadily healing.
