About this deal

Headphones are working great I opened them up and at first I was upset thinking they did not work but then when I flipped the cord and plugged them into right slots it worked perfectly fine . Elden Ring uses a more advanced form of the summoning systems from the Dark Souls series, but still has limitations, most notably being partners being forced out of your game after every boss or death. The Seamless Co-op mod aims to make the entire game playable with a partner without any interruptions when players die, bosses are beaten, and no fog walls. It is still being worked on, but already works very well. The Windows 10 version ASTRO Command Center software, from the Microsoft Store, enables full configuration of the adjustable settings for these ASTRO devices:

Comfortability is completely depending on the size of your head and ears, the headset has adjustment sliders that go up and down if you have a bigger or smaller head but the ear cups put a fair amount of pressure on the ears which may be an issue for some people at times including myself Internally, the Arctis Nova Pro uses 40mm neodymium drivers with a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz. Although the frequency range doesn’t reach as high as some audiophile-class headsets, it can still hold its own in the sound department. The wide soundscape of the Arctis Nova Pro gives players much more positional awareness in games and, combined with a digital surround sound solution, even more so. The headset itself is stereo, but you can use Windows Sonic Spatial Audio or Dolby Atmos for Headphones on your Xbox Series X to achieve virtual surround sound. Unfortunately, if you have integrated sound, this could mean you’ll need either an independent sound card or a new motherboard. Sweet Spot Fix The mic is permanently attached, and while the earpads and headbands are removable, Astro doesn't offer mod kits for simple replacement like with the A40 and A50. It is, unfortunately, a common side-effect to using line-in microphones on desktops without dedicated sound cards or fancier motherboards in general. Using noise-reduction plugins on software such as Discord will help remedy this, but recording directly into any software might exhibit some noise, depending on your setup. Overall, the microphone performance is stellar, complimenting the fantastic speakers and comfortable construction. Astro A10: What's not so goodOnce you’ve opened “manage sound devices,” select the A10 headset device listed and test the sound. What really stands out is this headset’s build quality. Like all budget headsets, the A10s use almost exclusively plastic. Instead of trying to cram multiple adjustment points around a plastic body, Astro went with a single point of adjustment: Up and down on the ear cups. Comfort is a little worse as a result, but durability is vastly improved (there are simply fewer points of failure). Next, under the “Speaker audio” column, select “Optical audio,” and if you see “Bitstream out,” try turning it off. The last point to discuss is the mic. The boom is long and slightly malleable, and can be swiveled upward, both to engage mute and keep it out of the way — all positives. However, a removable or collapsible design would have enhanced the headset’s versatility. That said, this is very much a gaming headset in looks and execution; this wasn’t designed to be worn on your commute to work. To that end, we’re willing to forgive the “sore-thumb” design. The floating earcups and vertically sliding struts give the A10 a secure fit that's even more comfortable than the previous A10 thanks to material upgrades. The earpads are now wrapped in a soft, breathable fabric instead of felt, with generous and soft memory foam under it. Wide padding under the headband matches the material, and ensures that the headset never feels too tight on the head.

Yes. While there are several great options at this price point, none match the A10’s performance quality. A sound issue with only one side working on your Astro Headset can be caused by a bad cable connection, bad cable, outdated drivers, or a system setting not set correctly. The good news is we’ve got fixes for all these causes.Additionally, the headset comes with a uni-directional microphone with flip-to-mute functionality and a detachable 3.5mm cable, ensuring you can continue using the headset even if the cable breaks. Compared to headsets in its price range, this second-generation revision of the Astro A10 headset was able to impress for less. Tremendous value for money. You should buy this if ... With the A10 connected to my PC as a stereo headset, Fortnite sounded full and detailed. Gunshots were loud and punchy, and footsteps came through clearly. The stereo mix offered little directionality, so you won’t gain a tactical advantage. Here are a few common causes and fixes for unidirectional sound issues on Mac and Pcs. Cable Connection Point Issue

The mic isn't detachable and only slides one way, this means if you're wearing the headset correctly the mic should only be able to slide down facing your left while wearing it. Prior to this headset I always wore headsets with the mic facing to my right and thought I'd hate the change but I got used to it and it doesn't bother me at all anymore

Is the Astro A10 microphone any good?

The main difference between the Stealth 700s and the Arctis Nova is the build quality. The Turtle Beach headset uses more plastics. Thankfully, that doesn’t lead to a cheaper feel. The headrest is still reinforced with metal, and although it doesn’t feature a suspended headband, there’s still plenty of cushioning on top. The earcups are nice and plump, too, fit with memory foam infused with Aerofit cooling gel. If the sound issue’s not fixed by now, try using another headset or headphones. If the same problem repeats, then it could be possible that there’s an issue with your hardware, such as a faulty sound card. Once the “Get” becomes “Launch” hit the “Launch button to launch the ASTRO Command Center software. One of the most common causes for sound coming out of one earpiece are issues related to your audio cable’s connection point on either end. For example, if you’re cable isn’t plugged in securely on either the PC or headset end, you may only receive sound from one side.
