About this deal

In addition to being a music streamer that props up your old hi-fi kit, by having the RCA line in, you could connect the Audio Pro Link 2 to a turntable, CD player or any other analogue device. And if you have Audio Pro wireless speakers in your home, you can re-stream audio to them.

My set up is two paired C10 and a C5 ( R&L) in a group with a turntable as a line input to the master. Does the Audio Pro app play gaplessly? We don’t yet know. That’s a question for the manufacturer to answer. As are the specifications of the unit’s two outputs: the 3.5mm analogue output whose internal DAC specification is unknown; and the TOSLINK output whose sample rate ceiling and possible resampling are also unknown. Audio pro C10's are beautiful things and they sound great. Rich well balanced with good bass. The C5 is a bit too full & bassy. Having owned guitar amps and well made hifi equipment, these compete with aplomb, with simple solid boxes with wonderful buttons and knobs. This stuff has been reviewed by "What HiFi?"and on tech forums, but as to places to get it, that's not clear - I have had freezes and hanging software. The App not seeing my speakers and my radio presets disappearing. - My Wifi Strength is 100% at 200mb .So I think its Hardware/softwareThere are many Brands of this type of equipment. I would put more faith in proven SONOS, or Bluesound, or Cambridge, or many others.

The Link 1 includes all of the big-hitting internet streaming services you would expect, allowing you to play any song you like in your multi-room system. Combine with the C5 and C10 wireless multi-room speakers to truly liberate your home hi-fi system. Free Your Music Collection I currently have an Audio Pro C5 for the bedroom, a Audio Pro Allroom 1 in kitchen and three further Audio Pro Link1 adaptors feeding the garden, living room and dining room setups. It’s been a big trend in the hi-fi world recently, with Cambridge Audio and WIM offering similar products at a more expensive price. Can the Audio Pro Link 2 breathe new life into your old hi-fi equipment? Here’s my verdict. Design On its fascia are four LED lights that signal which source is in use, although, while the lights are easy to see from afar, the lettering of the actual source is more difficult to ascertain unless you’re up close. Hi, Our distributors in Europe are Hama and Aqipa. Which outlets they have changes constantly and we dont have information regarding this."According to Oxford Languages (via Google), the word revivify popped up in the 17 th century to describe something that “give(s) new life or vigour to”. That neatly sums up the Audio Pro Link 2. I couldn't find any articles relating to what chips etc are in the guts of the Audio Pro Link 1 adaptors. You can play music from a computer or NAS in your network, internet streaming services or your mobile. This flexible and compact model is all controlled by Audio Pro's App Of Simplicity so the musical options are limitless. Audio Pro Link 1 Multi Room Player brings high-calibre connectivity to a deceptively small and discreet design. Famed for their sleek aesthetic, Audio Pro have yet again showcased their understated Scandinavian look. With this ultra-versatile model, you can connect any audio tech of your choice to your multiroom system, from powered speakers and radios to hi-fi systems and AV systems. The Audio Pro Link 2 is as small a music streamer you’re likely to find. Even the titchy Cambridge MXN10 is bigger in all dimensions. What that essentially means is that you can plonk the Link 2 among the rest of your hi-fi equipment without having to make space for it.

It’s proved consistent in terms of its tone across various wireless sources, whether Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect or Google Cast (Qobuz) – the difference lies in the details with Spotify (of course) sounding the least defined of the three. The second version of the Scandinavian company’s streaming device gets a new form factor, an upgrade in features, but still adheres to the same philosophy as before in taking your old analogue equipment and bringing it into the modern age. The app does look like it could use a fresh coat visually, but it is responsive to use and easy to navigate, though I’ve found if I leave the app open for long enough it has a habit of crashing, necessitating a restart. Performance

Yes they are hard to find ( I got a great with Richer sounds at an ultra cheap price) and very illusively supported/ promoted because they are scandi and because of the sonos retail hold,. which is to be honest is warranted because they are easier to operate, if you like the build and sound. Otherwise, you have other means of streaming to the Audio Pro Link 2. It’s covered for Spotify Connect (naturally), Tidal Connect, Apple AirPlay 2, built-in Chromecast, and Bluetooth 4.2. There’s no MQA support with Tidal however, nor is there any Roon compatibility like you’d get from the more expensive Cambridge MNX10 network player. These guys may or may not sell great speakers. I can't tell because THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHATSOEVER WHERE THERE PRODUCTS ARE SOLD. The kit and app are a doddle to use and setup and I have found that streaming to multiple speakers is a lot more stable than with Airplay. However if you have an Apple Music subscription then you cannot stream to multiple speakers at once with the Audio Pro app, it needs to be done via iTunes and the remote app. And tonally, what I hear when the Audio Pro when plugged into a system made up of a Cambridge Audio CXA61 amplifier and Q Acoustics 3010i speaker is a warm sound that gives music a rich sense of texture if not quite the level of insight and detail more expensive streamers can relay.
