Like trust, people want to feel safe. Thesepower wordsmake them either fear for their safety or trust that you are giving them safety. CONCEPT: Two fates collide at the castle of the King, a noble girl and a baker's boy. Both desire to escape from their particular lives and do so amidst all the political intrigue. (Nothing really big actually happens in this story. Lots of intrigue and great characters but no spectacular spine to the story). Please note that these word count ranges are approximate and can vary based on individual writing styles, genre conventions, and the specific story being told. Word counts for books can be shorter or longer than the ranges mentioned above, and there is no strict rule for the ideal length of a book. FAQs Estimating the word count of a book can vary depending on several factors such as genre, target audience, writing style, and font size. However, a rough estimation can be made using some common guidelines.

How much can the average person read in an hour? The average reading speed for adults is around 200 to 300 words per minute. So, the average person might read around 1,200 to 1,800 words in an hour. Maybor and Baralis were not interesting to read about, with their petty squabbles and tantrums with each other. Before delving into apowerwordslist, first, you must understand whatpowerful wordsare and why you need them. With just one word, many English phrases become incredibly powerful, sparking people to action. There was a forward by someone named Nursultan Umbetov who is living, but far less famous (internationally, at least) than Kunanbayev. However, that front matter is the only ancillary matter for the edition I read. It does have explanatory footnotes where necessary to clarify something that wouldn’t make sense to non-Kazakhs.How long should a self-published book be? Self-published books can vary in length, but authors often aim for a standard word count typical of their genre. The author also made the choice to make all the villains pov characters. This is a bit problematic. Firstly they are uninteresting evil characters. Secondly I now get to see all their plotting which takes any mystery out of the story. It gets worse. All the intrigues of the bad guys get repeated. Let me explain: Bad Guy 1 does intrigue x against Bad Guy 2 ( we learn this from Pov of bad guy 1) but later we read the pov of Bad Guy 2 where he finds out about the intrigue against him and figures it all out. Later we read in a chapter how bad guy 1 finds out that his plan against bad guy 2 failed miserably. Do this x 1000 and you have the book. It's boring because nothing of these chapters is new information. Human nature means people like to be on the cutting-edge, and these words will make them think that you are giving them new or novel information. to read sb like a book I know where he's off to - I can read him like a book→ sé dónde va, a mí no me engaña

DIALOGUE: Pretty good, actually. I could tell just by reading the dialogue that several of the characters had very distinctive voices. Just about everyone had different sentence structure and used different phrases to describe things. I really liked how she used her dialogue in also setting out the personalities of various characters. I'll start positive. The setting was interesting, and the general overview of the story is exciting. Had elements of Robin Hobb in there (published the same year as Royal Assassin actually), though sadly this comparison only goes to show how much better Robin Hobb's series was. Structurally as well, the book was a bit of a mess. Scene breaks were inconsistently marked, and time jumps were never clear. It all felt erratic and really needed some smoothing out.
