About this deal

Wrapping up this article is Ulysse Nardin, a luxury Swiss watch brand recognized for its highly accurate marine chronometers. The company, which makes its watches in Le Locle, Switzerland, has been around since 1846 and has become a subsidiary of the French Kering Group since 2014. The watch features a genuine leather strap, automatic movement, Krysterna crystal, and a 50m water resistance rating. Tissot offers an inexpensive entry into the world of skeleton watches. Their Chemin Des Tourelles model is available new for 1,200 euros. A new T-Complication Squelette Mechanical with a manual caliber and small seconds costs only 200 euros more. The high-tech ceramic case in this timepiece is hypoallergenic, making it suitable for those with extra-sensitive skins. The case is also lightweight, scratch-resistant, and thermal-resistant. Also, RADO creates some of the most uncompromising timepieces around.

This model has a water resistance of 100m–still not as deep as other watches, but better compared to most skeleton models. It’s a 43mm watch with a tachymeter scale, an anti-reflective sapphire crystal case, a 50-hour power reserve. Tag Heuer is a luxury brand, so this comes with a hefty price tag. The Classic 43mm automatic watch, which is part of the Bulova’s Classic Automatic Collection, has a stainless steel case and bracelet, a blue skeleton dial, a double-press deployant closure, and a flat mineral glass. It’s also water-resistant to 100 meters. This watch is only water-resistant up to 50m, so while it can take some minor splashes and light swimming, you can’t use it for more serious water activities like snorkeling or diving.

Here we have our first entry from the Stuhrling watch brand. They’re well known for their huge collection of affordable watches including an impressive selection of automatic skeleton watches. You can take a look at more of our best Stuhrling watches here. There are some, however, who expressed dissatisfaction, saying how the watch stopped working after a few months.

Next up we have another stunning Rotary Skeleton watch. Rotary are one of my favourite brands for affordable skeleton watches offering a wide selection with some great value for money. This model has this stunning blue detailing on the dial that looks very impressive in my opinion. Hublot introduced the Big Bang Unico Integral, its first-ever Big Bang with an integrated metal bracelet, to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the original, brand-defining Big Bang model in 2005. The updated case design, which takes its cues from the existing Big Bang Unico 42 — including the emblematic porthole bezel with H-shaped screws — features a first link that’s fused with the bracelet and chronograph pushers that echo the look of those on the very first Big Bang watches. Behind a sapphire crystal, the skeletonized Unico HUB1280 caliber, which comprises the base of the open dial, has a built-in chronograph function driven by a column wheel (visible through the dial side) and a horizontal double-clutch mechanism. The automatic movement stores a power reserve of 72 hours, or three days, in its mainspring barrel. The bracelet, of course, is the major talking point, made up of triple links whose shaped edges resemble those of the chrono pushers. This analog watch is a 51mm stainless steelwith an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, a folding clasp with push buttons, a water resistance of up to 50 meters, and 17 jewels. Skeleton watches have unique and distinct designs. The intricacies are fascinating—being able to see what goes on inside a timepiece is a joy to watch, which is why the see-through designs are popular among horology enthusiasts and watch collectors alike. Some say Joseph Bulova changed the way watches are worn and perceived. Hailing from New York since the 1800s, Bulova watches are opulent, innovative and crafted with engineering artistry. The brand consistently strives for innovation and works to include the latest technology in every timepiece – shown through the introduction of the world’s first curved chronograph movement, the Bulova Curv.
