About this deal

Earthworm Belt Slash: A sword will appear waving over a belt. The user must press the A or B button when the sword is lined up at the center of the belt to cut it in half. Pressing too early or too late counts as a failure. The belt must be cut at least once to win, and five times for a perfect game. The Demon Slayer Tamagotchi has more shell designs than any other licensed Tamagotchi Nano model, with the original version featuring five shells, the second version featuring nine, and the third version featuring three, for a total of seventeen shells. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a manga and anime franchise released in Japan in 2016. Taking place place in Taishō-era Japan, the story follows Tanjiro Kamado and his sister Nezuko Kamado as they seek a cure to Nezuko's demon curse. Tanjiro and Nezuko become entangled in the affairs of a secret society, known as the Demon Slayer Corps, that have been waging a secret war against demons for centuries. The Corps is run by nine powerful and respected warriors known as the Hashira. On the Demon Slayer Tamagotchi, the user is tasked with caring for and training a new member of the Demon Slayer Corps. Total Concentration: The user's Demon Slayer will appear lying in a bed, and letters will appear to the top right. The user must press the corresponding buttons (A or B, once or twice) in time. Failing to respond in time, or pressing the wrong button, will get the Demon Slayer hit with a carpet beater. The user must successfully respond at least once to win the game, and five times for a perfect game.

With some Nanos you raise the actual thing, like the Gudetama. With others, like the Pac-Man and Hello Kitty you are raising a Tamagotchi with the help of Pac-Man and Hello Kitty respectively. I don’t really prefer one style over the other, but I feel like raising the actual thing rather than a Tamagotchi is more fun. The Demon Slayer Tamagotchi is like the Gudetama and you actually raise a Demon Slayer that evolves based on how you play with it. Demon Slayer Tamagotchi wave 4 has programming that follows the story of Demon Slayer -Kimetsu No Yaiba- Entertainment District Arc.Continue playing to reveal all the features such as Kasugai garasu (Kasugai Crow), Chuntaro, and demons who battled out! If the user severely neglects the Demon Slayer, or allows a demon to persist on the screen for too long, the Demon Slayer will become injured, portrayed by it lying in a bed and sulking. Pressing the A button multiple times will eventually heal it. If the Demon Slayer stays injured for too long, or gets injured many times, it will die, with the sulking lines being replaced by a skull, followed by the Kakushi appearing the clean up the remains. Pressing the A and C buttons together will summon a new Demon Slayer. If your Slayer is hungry, give it a rice ball. If they're in a bad mood, give them green tea. There are three different mini games to play: Cut Mimizu-Obi by pressing a timed button, Catch the luggage, and play the Shamisen with Zenko

Medicated Water: Kanao Tsuyuri will appear with two cups, and letters will appear to the top left. The user must press the corresponding buttons (A or B, once or twice) in time. Failing to respond in time, or pressing the wrong, button, will get the Demon Slayer splashed with medicated water. The user must successfully respond at least once to win the game, and five times for a perfect game. There are no on-screen icons, and therefore all information is conveyed through the screen and buttons. The Demon Slayer is cared for by filling its meters; it has Hungry and Happy meters, each consisting of four units, which are both empty when the Demon Slayer is born. If either becomes empty, it will call for attention to fill them. Tamagotchi Connection Version 1 • Tamagotchi Connection Version 2 • Tamagotchi Connection Version 3 • Tamagotchi Connection Version 4 ( 4.5) • Tamagotchi Connection Version 5 ( Celebrity) • Tamagotchi Music Star • TamaTown Tama-Go • Tamagotchi Friends ( Dream Town Digital Friend) On each version there are three training games, each influencing which evolution the Demon Slayer will become. Completing a game will raise the Happy meter by 1, while playing a perfect game will raise the Happy meter by 2.

Side guide

Overall, the Demon Slayer Tamagotchi devices are very easy and fun to play with. I’ve been running 2 of the Demon Slayer devices along with two other Nanos, a Digimon X, and a Teku Teku Angel pedometer digital pet this past week without too much issue. Also, the latest they seem to go to sleep, at least with Kinoe who I got on my original version and Mitsuri Kanroji who I got on my Hashira Version, is 10pm. They wake around 7am in the morning. The devices say they are recommended for ages 6+, but I wouldn’t recommend that considering how small the devices are and when the Tamagotchi goes to bed.

Sometimes games on Tamagotchi devices are not that fun to play or it feels like you are just “grinding” to keep your Tamagotchi character happy. With Nanos, their happiness gauge can always be filled with treats without negatively affecting their evolution. With the Demon Slayer in particular, evolution is based on how well you feed it and keep it happy, but also the number of trainings and what types, along with how many perfect scores help determine what evolution you will end up with.

All of the navigational menu screens are portrayed with images instead of text, similar to the Pac-Man Tamagotchi and Hello Kitty Tamagotchi, making this the first Japanese Tamagotchi Nano model to feature this. Across the first two versions, the games are inspired by the Rehabilitation Training regimen seen in the series, used to rebuild the stamina of recovering Demon Slayers in Butterfly Mansion. Splitting Stones: A sword will appear waving over a stone. The user must press the A or B button when the sword is lined up at the center of the stone to cut it in half. Pressing too early or too late counts as a failure. The stone must be cut at least once to win, and five times for a perfect game. Physical Training: Aoi Kanzaki will appear running away from the screen. The user must press the A or B button when the exclamation mark (!) appears to tag her. Pressing too early or too late counts as a failure. Aoi must be caught at least once to win, and five times for a perfect game. Every hour, normally at XX:30, a Kasugai Crow will appear to show animations of different events, based on moments from the anime and manga. Pressing any button will trigger the animation to end, with some showing an additional screen before closing. The animations appear daily, and they differ between the three versions.

Tamagotchi Plus Color ( Hexagontchi) • Tamagotchi iD ( iD L) • Tamagotchi P's • Tamagotchi 4U ( 4U+) • Tamagotchi m!x • Tamagotchi On • Tamagotchi Pix • Tamagotchi Smart • Tamagotchi Uni The games on the Demon Slayer device are skill-based rather than chance-based like some Tamagotchi devices. I prefer these types of games as they are more fun and frankly, easier to win. The three games included vary depending on if you have the original or Hashira Version. The three games in the original version are splitting stones which involves hitting the A or B button when the sword is on the center of the stone, gourd breaking which involves hitting the A button repetitively, and medicated water where you need to push the A or B buttons as they appear on the screen.
