Gentlemen Only Absolute je novi muški miris kuće Givenchy koji izlazi na ljeto 2016. godine. Miris je bogata, Eau de Parfum varijanta „džentlmena u svom najboljem izdanju“. Gentlemen Only iz 2013. predstavlja moderni omaž klasiku kuće Givenchy Gentlemen iz 1974. Nakon njega uslijedila su izdanja Gentlemen Only Intense početkom 2014., Gentlemen Only Casual Chic početkom 2015. i Gentlemen Only Parisian Break početkom 2016. godine. Descris ca un parfum de seara prin prisma temperamentului sau oriental – picant – lemnos, desavarsit cu note proaspete de top si cu o baza invelita in acorduri cremoase, vanilice si misterioase, parfumul isi demonstreaza potenta in cadrul anotimpurilor reci. Totusi, daca o sa va indragostiti iremediabil de lichiorul catifelat incapsulat in noua sticluta a diviziei Gentlemen, va sfatuim sa il purtati dupa lasarea noptii. Dintre toate parfumurile dulci pe care mi le-am cumparat in ultimul timp (Azzaro Wanted, Eternity Now si One Million), acesta este cel mai bun.

There is something like a vanilla-based creamy soapy water, and there is a coldness in the middle that almost feels metallic. Maybe Spicy Nutmeg. I really like this part. However, this soapy water is slightly old school, thus adding a mature vibe to the scent. I think GOA is too mature for people under 30.

Not really boozy. So there is no impression of profligate or free-spiritedness. It is not as seductive or alluring as it is. And because of the above three factors, GOA is maybe suitable for day-time offices. But is it really a good scent in the office? Not certain. And also it's a bit modest to wear at clubs or social gatherings. In my opinion, it can be worn anywhere, but not the best anywhere. In inima, nucleul incalzeste la foc incet notele prafoase de scortisoara, nucsoara si sofran, pana cand acestea se transforma intr-o crema densa de vanilie si santal. Abia atunci esenta isi demontreaza adevarata forta de seductie pe care o revarsa nu doar asupra purtatorului de sex masculin, ci si femeilor din jurul acestuia.

Din fericire, nu are un miros care sa te copleseasca sau care sa te enerveze, ci, din contra unul care iti face placere si te imbie cu note diverse, foarte aromate. Originalul Gentleman, care a implinit 41 de ani la lansarea versiunii Only Absolute, impresioneaza si astazi publicul masculin. Insa, de la un timp, acesta implora dupa o doza in plus de rafinament si originalitate, care sa il claseze printre preferatele publicului masculin contemporan. La aceasta cerinta isi propune sa raspunda Only Absolute prin calatoria sa olfactiva in peisajul Orientului, unde se straduieste sa descopere noi teritorii pigmentate cu note stralucitoare de scortisoara, nucsoara si sofran, oferind purtatorului sau o incursiune de neuitat in lumea araba. As others have already mentioned, this piece is one of the Spicebomb types and features vivid and distinctive cinnamon. I'd like to add just how Gentlemen Only Absolute differs from competitors like Spicebomb, Bvlgari MIB, L'Occitane Eau des Baux, and etc. Something in my gut (& nostrils tingling just thinking about it) tells me GOA EDP may just be numero uno!!!
