About this deal

You will notice that many notes overlap between the two scents, whether at the beginning or at the core.

Concocted by Givaudan’s Antoine Lie, Pi Neo has top notes of Italian bergamot and mandarin orange, a heart of cedar and patchouli and a base of amber and vanilla. As well, each of the accords includes a patented, futuristic note. The top note carries Toscanol, an anise-like ingredient intended to give the fragrance energy. In the heart, Safraleine is intended to enrich the woody accord and to add hints of leather, spice and tobacco. The base of the fragrance has Cosmone, which lends a fluidity and hint of ambergris to the scent.I got Pi a few days ago and wore it today and already it got me a lot of compliments so far 4 and counting. Armani Code Sport smells like they combined Le Male with Armani Code with a fair amount of mint. This fragrance has an energizing combination of citrus, mint, and ginger.

What a warm , smooth, devine vanilla/almond combo for the A/W season!! Unisex and blows most "female" gourmands out of the water. Code Profumo by Giorgio Armani is the ideal winter cologne. You can also use it during fall, but I wouldn’t recommend wearing it during the hotter seasons. It is also more suitable for afternoon events than daytime events. I'm going to try to be objective here, but full disclosure: this scent was ruined for me by a co-worker who used to go on regular smoke breaks and spray this juice on afterwards to cover up the odor. This fragrance is a nuclear vanilla bomb with sixty miles of projection, and should only be applied in small amounts, once per day. The co-worker used it like air freshener three or four times in an eight-hour period. Whereas Pi is more concentrated in past odor ideas (in my opinion), this fragrance is forward thinking and i believe that it is THIS creation that's keeping every male scent nowadays from smelling like dessert.I am suprised they didnt do a "absolu" or "extreme" version. I think this work better as a masculine frag if they added some suede notes , or tobacco to toughen it up a bit. Id like to smell that on a man....but hey im not complaining! An excellent scent that can be found for good prices Released in 1998, Pi by Givenchy is the ultimate creamy, amber, vanilla and woodsy men’s cologne. The scent is unconventional and perfect for those who like a touch of sweetness to their cologne. The cologne is very long-lasting and stays well for almost 8 hours at times, and the projection is also impressive. Given its affordable price point, I’d say it’s an easy must-have if you are into Givenchy Pi.

There is a vanilla idea throughout the fragrance, almost a faded reflection to it's sophisticated father. It's more than that though the original is so complex and tips the balance between supreme and awful on my skin. Something about Pi puts me in mind of a poisonous noxious gas that smells super sweet just before you succumb to the fumes. I feel that the summer version isn't too far from the original path of it's predecessor. This, in composition, is very, very, very smooth, even smoother than it's father. Accords of cumin and leather make bold appearances upon the arrival of total dry-down, completing the entire idea of the fragrance, these accords balance perfectly with the sweet vanilla found throughout. Disclaimer: I agree with what some are saying about how this should have been a standalone cologne and not a flanker of Pi. This review is looking at it as if it were a standalone fragrance without any bias towards or against Pi.

Toscanol was created by the house of Givaudan and invented to replace chavicol, and its intention is to contribute to intensity and longevity of the composition. It is stable in aromatic compositions where it prolongs strength and durability of aromas. It is very durable, stays as many as two days on the blotter, when you try the fragrance, and it s very useful for modification of lavender aromas and refreshing spicy aromas. Looking for the marketing and bottle, everything seems weird. Even the pyramid is a bit weird. Ironwood and Infinium?? (I still can't find what it's supposed to smell like). The smell itself is much more easy to understand. What we find here is, mainly, a sweet benzoin driven scent with mandarin orange on top. There's a lot of base notes and sweetness (but not the contemporary sweetness) which makes this fragrance very linear. There's a hint of freshness in the opening, with the mandarin orange, but the overall experience is very monochordic. Coumarin and benzoin which translates to sweet almonds. That's it. But smells really good. It's like a warm hug. Luca Turin wasn't a fan at all but I find it quite alluring and different from what we see today. An appealing sweet scent that isn't cloying or ultra cheap smelling like many recent fragrances. True to the original, Craze is also an excellent winter scent. However, it has broader usability, in my opinion, because you can wear it in fall and spring alike. Moreover, it is great for a wide range of different settings, you can wear it to both formal and casual occasions.
