About this deal

Animals can't understand their pain or set it in context (e.g. they can't see that the pain of having a tooth out is a small price to pay for getting rid of toothache)

Humans see angels when the angels want to reveal themselves. The donkey saw the Angel of the Lord without his self-revelation. In fact, judging from the Angel’s comments to Balaam (see v. 33), the donkey was actually acting contrary to the Angel’s intentions. We could understand it if the Angel said he wanted the donkey to help Balaam avoid the fate he had planned for him. But the text does not say that. A plain reading of the text suggests that the donkey was actually frustrating the plan of the Angel. The donkey saw the Angel without the Angel’s assistance. Guardian god of the ancient city Lamark, where wounded heroes could find comfort and heal after battle. He was the son of Aphrodite. Early Christians regarded human beings as greatly superior to all other animals. After all, human beings were made in the image of God, and God chose human form for his earthly life. Furthermore, God clearly decreed that human beings should have power over non-human animals. Augustine Cretan Bull/Marathonian Bull, was the bull Pasiphaë fell in love with, giving birth to the Minotaur. Merpeople, humans with fish tail after torso ( Mermaid as female, Merman as male). They lure adventurers to drown them.In addition, Scripture teaches that God is personally involved in feeding the animals. Psalm 104:14 is instructive here. It says God “causes” the grass to grow for the cattle. The Hebrew text uses the causative form of the verb “to grow” to reveal this. God isn’t simply passively watching nature take care of its own. Verse 21 continues this theme when it says the young lions “seek their food from God.” Pulling these individual examples together, the psalmist speaks of animals in general, saying, “They all wait for You (God) to give them their food in due season” (v. 27).

Gigantes, were a race of great strength and aggression. Archaic and Classical representations show Gigantes as human in form. Later representations show Gigantes with snakes for legs. Nevertheless, the Bible says that God “hates anyone who loves violence.” ( Psalm 11:5) So it stands to reason that God does not want us to harm or kill animals merely for pleasure or for sport. If you know someone who is cruel to their animals or pets, they may not be saved, because a righteous person should care for their animals, and in fact, they should have regard for all animals, whether they own them or not. The righteous should care enough about the welfare of their own animals but also the welfare of other animals who might not be receiving proper care and might be treated cruelly or harshly. Remember that these are God’s creatures, not ours, and we will be accountable for how we take care of them or neglect them. The Apostle Paul cited this verse with respect to the church taking care of their leaders, as he wrote “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer deserves his wages” (1st Tim 5:18), so he wasn’t so much concerned with the ox as he was with the church supporting the pastors. In saying this, I consulted Paul’s letter to the Corinthians where he wrote, “it is written in the Law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned”(1st Cor 9:9)? Obviously God cares for his creatures (like oxen) but the point is, if we know God cares for his creatures enough to ensure they receive part of their labor, such as allowing an ox to at least eat part of what he’s labored for, how much more so for those that labor for the Lord? Actaeon, Artemis turned him into a deer for spying on her while bathing. He was promptly eaten by his own hunting dogs. Titan God of Heavenly Light & Pillar of the East. Hyperion is the father of Helios, the embodiment of the sun; Selene, the personification of the moon; and Eos, the herald of dawn. His wife, Theia, who belongs to the Titan lineage, shares a familial bond as his sister and presides as the goddess overseeing sight and the azure expanse of the sky. A National Geographic News story discusses how a growing number of “hybrid species” have been observed in the wild. Reading about such interbreeding species is a reminder that the representatives of each kind from Noah’s Ark contained the genetic information to repopulate the earth, leading to the species we see today. Animals Topics

Sybaris, a dracaena that lived on a mountain near Delphi, eating shepherds and passing travelers; she was pushed off the cliff by Eurybarus. The Papal Encyclical Evangelium Vitae recognises that animals have both an intrinsic value and a place in God's kingdom. Ceryneian Hind, an enormous deer which was sacred to Artemis; Heracles was sent to retrieve it as one of his labours Diana, goddess of the hunt, wild animals, wilderness and the moon; equivalent to the Greek goddess Artemis Many animals are endowed with remarkable and interesting abilities, and evolutionists contend that humans are just smart animals. But the Bible reveals how and why human beings possess not only the ability to express and understand original abstract thoughts through language but also the ability to know—and be accountable to—their Creator. Hybrid Animals in the WildRespect their space: Give animals their own space and respect their boundaries. Don’t disturb them when they are sleeping or eating. God has the right to have everything he created treated respectfully - wronging animals is wronging God Lamia, a vampiric demon who by voluptuous artifices attracted young men, to enjoy their fresh, youthful, and pure flesh and blood. The story of Jonah also offers insight into God’s concern for animals. After Jonah preached and the people of Nineveh repented, Jonah expressed his displeasure at God’s decision not to send destructive judgment on the people. In confronting Jonah about his hard-hearted attitude, God reminded Jonah that not only have 120,000 people been spared, “many animals” were also spared (Jonah 4:11). The well-being of these animals mattered to God. Lernaean Hydra, a many-headed, serpent-like creature that guarded an Underworld entrance beneath Lake Lerna. It was destroyed by Heracles, in his second Labour. Son of Typhon and Echidna.
