About this deal

Once these bonds or links have been dissolved, the artificial colour molecules have nothing to hold them in place and since they are smaller now, they can easily get out of the hair shaft through the cuticle. I won’t go through all the instructions, because they come with the product and are pretty easy to follow. The whole process takes just under 90 minutes once you’ve finished applying the colour remover, so make sure you set aside some time! I struggled to get a comb through my hair when I went to dry it but think that's because I normally use conditioner and detangler. After lots of rinsing, shampooing and blow drying I was so pleased with the result. I have not applied any dye to my hair, this is literally the colour that it went after removing the lotion. I love the colour and I also love the ombre type effect where the lengths have had more colour build up on them. I was planning on dying my hair but, having seen the colour it has gone, I am actually so happy and will be leaving it the colour it turned out. The finished result after rinsing, shampooing & blow drying

This hair colour remover works only on permanent hair colour. It is not effective on temporary dye nor will it remove cuticle staining. New from the UK,JoBaz Hair Colour Remover is a simple and effective home treatment especially formulated to reverse an undesirable hair colour application or simply if you want to change your look. HOW DOES THE HAIR COLOUR REMOVER MAGIC WORK? Our Hair colour remover, removes permanent hair dye from the hair by gently reducing the size of permanent hair dye particles held within hair so the dye becomes small enough to simply wash out. This means you can remove permanent hair dye and restore your hair colour at home without the need for bleach or ammonia. Once the lotion was all applied, and my hair was sufficiently covered, I wrapped myself in cling film and started to get a better picture of how an oven ready turkey may feel. My hair before I applied the lotion As some other reviewers have said the product can be drying and as I've got colour treated hair i only applied it once and for shorter development time (15 mins instead of the 20-30) - i would have done another application but i think unless your hair is super healthy it could be too drying.

The maximum strength edition works in 60 minutes and the normal strength product works in 30 minutes. Simply combine the activator (part A) and remover (part B), massage the product into your hair for the required time and then rinse off to remove the hair dye. What reviewers thought:

In the box you get your developing lotion, the colour removal lotion, shampoo, gloves & instructions. What I did was I put the product through combed it through, wrapped it in glad rap and I actually made a bed on the floor and used my floor heater ( that blows hot air) and lyed there for an hour. Not only does the heat HELP to remove the colour faster but the end result after 15 minutes of rinsing and using the buffer - my hair had turned a medium blonde. Use heat! A blow dryer or something trust me. It works better. I tried out the “Max Strength” version, because I’ve been dyeing my hair quite dark recently and wanted to bring it down to the previous lighter tones so I could go for a different look (more about that later).

Has your hair received multiple colour applications and become dark and flat?

I made the mistake of going to a hairdresser (which I rarely do) and asked for a dye to match the lightened ends to my natural ash-blonde colour. It’s important to thoroughly wash out all the dye. If even a little is left behind, it could start re-colouring your hair again. That’s why many hair colour removers recommend rinsing for 20 minutes or more. So would I recommend JoBaz Colour Remover Extra Strength? Well, in honesty I was a little disappointed. I’ve had better results using Colour B4 Extra Strength in the past and still think its worth paying the extra to try Decolour Remover. However, if this is all you can get your hands on I don’t think its a bad product. It did what it said on the box, it did remove the unwanted colour although I personally felt some were left behind. The hairs condition was ok, a little dry but nothing conditioner couldn’t fix and the product didn’t cost as much as the other 2 I have compared it too. It was ok, but that’s all I’m giving it in honesty and I probably wouldn’t use it again as I feel there are better ones on the market. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Colourless for agreeing to send me their product to review. I couldn’t be happier with the result. WHO IS THE PERFECT MATCH? Anyone who has permanently coloured hair who wants the ease of removing at home, works best during a colour change.
