The wet/dry balance of this formula is really important; if you change anything (especially any of the three ingredients in the dry phase) you may need to re-develop the formulation to get a workable dough.

How To Make Rice Water ShampooProper storage is important to ensure that your homemade rice water shampoo stays fresh and effective. After making the shampoo, transfer it to an airtight container, such as a glass jar or a plastic bottle with a tight-fitting lid. This will help to keep the shampoo fresh and prevent contamination. This is a common concern and often means you haven’t washed it out properly. To keep build-up to a minimum, use a little to start off with, building it up gradually and see how you get on.
