About this deal

This is not your Rebel Trooper Z-6. Sure, on its face, statistically it is the same; 4B, 6W, for an average of 28/8 or 3.5 hits. While armies of Battle Droids built in droid foundries and Clone Troopers created from the same genetic template may sound strictly uniform, there are plenty of opportunities for you to build a unique army. On top of choosing the troops and vehicles that round out your armies, the Clone Wars Core Set gives you the ability to tweak your individual units with a suite of forty upgrade cards. Whether you’re looking for a way to increase a unit’s firepower or to improve your lines of communication, you’ll find a mix of new and reprinted upgrade cards to build an army uniquely your own.

Speaking of personnel, Phase IIs have two good options in this slot that can really add to your existing beef. Clone Medic Obi-Wan Kenobi and General Grievous each pose with lightsabers at the ready, prepared to lead their troops into battle and show off their skills in combat. Both these miniatures are exclusive to the Clone Wars Core Set.

This core set introduces the Separatist Alliance and Galactic Republic factions to STAR WARS: LEGION. It contains everything that two players need to stage a battle between the Separatist droid forces and the clone soldiers of the Republic. This core set can be used as a starting point for collecting STAR WARS: LEGION miniatures and for building and customizing your own Separatist or Republic army! [4] This game-related article is a stub. You can help Wookieepedia by expanding it. I like to bring a couple of DC-15s along if I can afford it, primarily to save those precious surge tokens and provide some Range 4 poke. You can also get some surprise fire supports in at Range 4; adding two red dice and Critical onto a sniper pool can chunk some models off at a range your opponent thought they were safe from Fire Support. RPS-6 Phase I Trooper (21 points) Fire Support: The hallmark keyword of Republic corps, Fire Support can be game changing in some circumstances and rather middling in others. To quote my friends from the Bombad Generals podcast, Fire Support is a tool, not a strategy: it’s something to use if the opportunity presents itself, but not something to rely on as a core part of your build.

As the Separatist Alliance spreads itself across the galaxy, brave Clone Troopers and valiant Jedi are the only thing that stand between the relentless waves of Battle Droids and total galactic domination. Soon, you can build your armies and battle for the fate of the galaxy. Courage 2: The Phase IIs’ higher courage might be the biggest thing that sets them apart from Phase Is and makes it so they don’t risk losing an action with just one suppression. Under the Empire of the Hand, it appears that the 501st Legion had been reorganized, with the reduction of the standard company to forty men; if the companies were all indicated by individual letters of the Aurebesh like Aurek Company, the overall strength may have been no more than 1,360 men. Although the Jedi may be the highest-ranking members of the Grand Army of the Republic, it is the clones that most often carry out battle plans and complete the Republic’s objectives. With the ranks of Jedi perilously thin, Clone Commanders often have to step up and lead from the trenches.

Beyond Standard Issue

This unit guide will focus on Phase II Clone Troopers for the Republic faction in Star Wars: Legion. Different legions varied drastically in size and structure: some were armies charged with guarding entire sectors, while others were little more than local gangs. The term connoted size and importance, however, and in the terminology of the Republic and Empire, a legion was a large force composed of several regiments.
