About this deal

If your child is eligible for free school meals, they’ll remain eligible until they finish the phase of schooling (primary or secondary) they’re in on 31 March 2022. These services should be psychologically aware, adopting a personalised and trauma-informed approach to care. MMHS will have a crucial role to play to make this happen particularly because they will have the expertise to support women suffering from mental illness due to trauma or loss. Therefore, they will be able to train staff across the maternity pathway. The study of physical education aims to inspire, energise, educate and empower students towards leading active healthy lifestyles through maximum participation in a wide range of sporting activities. This innovative programme will identify where gaps currently exist and develop strategies to meet this need. Other potential gaps that MMHS may support include women who experience mental ill health following the removal of a baby due to safeguarding concerns; women suffering from tokophobia – a severe fear of childbirth which can lead to women avoiding pregnancy; or those who suffer from birth trauma. The MMHS will be holistic offering assessment of and signposting for partners, where necessary, ensuring the needs of the whole family are identified. In addition, they will establish an advisory group with representatives from relevant voluntary organisations e.g Birth Trauma Association, Miscarriage Association, SANDs, the International Stillbirth Alliance, Tommy’s Baby Charity and Birth Companions. The advisory group will meet on six occasions throughout project to inform the development and delivery. Our collaboratorsIn making provision for socially disadvantaged learners, we recognise that not all learners who receive Free School Meals will be socially disadvantaged or underachieving. We also recognise that not all learners who are socially disadvantaged are registered or qualify for free school meals. We therefore reserve the right to allocate the Pupil Premium funding to support any groups of learners the school has legitimately identified as being socially disadvantaged. Are the MMHS effective in improving psychological, knowledge, skills, and confidence in maternity staff? She has worked as a midwife and a nurse and held senior positions in clinical practice, education, leadership and management including: Director of Midwifery and Nursing positions for Women’s and Children’s services at Imperial College Healthcare Trust & Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. Her experience has seen her leading and influencing national maternity standards and guidance. She also influences healthcare, nationally and internationally through research, education and publications and is frequently invited to speak at national and international conferences. She is a member of the British Journal of Midwifery editorial board and until recently was an active member of the Maternity and Newborn Forum at the Royal Society of Medicine. The Headteacher will report to the governing body and parents on how effective the intervention has been in achieving its aims, including publishing online information about how the Premium has been used.
