About this deal

The RGB, lighting modes and the controls are just amazing. Absolutely breathtaking. I can't stop staring at it.

The Mecha's ground-breaking cast aluminum frame offers stunning aesthetics with curves and features that bulky CNC machined Aluminum frames can only dream of. The result is substantial weight, but in a carefully balanced way – not just heavy for the sake of being heavy. You have to feel it to believe it. The Mecha Mini does pretty much everything right; it’s got a compact design, supreme typing and gaming experience, gorgeous lighting, great keycaps, extremely solid build quality, andit comes with a bunch of nice extras in the box. As such it is, without a shadow of doubt, one of the best (gaming) keyboards that you can buy right now. All in all, this provides AMAZING value. Very high quality all around, super customizable and a dream to type on. This keyboard is beautiful, nice keycaps that are well made and the colors are excellent. I've had no issues so far with this keyboard when it comes to functionality, and the Speed Silver switches are nice. Very smooth switches with clear housings and they do indeed feel more speedy then many other switches. Excellent for gaming. I primarily use TKL as a form factor, but I decided to go 60% for the aesthetic and I can say I do not regret it.

The Mecha Mini is, as the name perhaps gives away, a very small keyboard. Its 60% size means that it’s even smaller than a tenkeyless board; you won’t even find any arrow keys on this one. That’s great for gaming (unless you’re one of those people who uses the arrow keys to play) as the compact design frees up a lot of desk real estate for you to move your mouse around, but that does make it a bit more difficult to use for productivity. You can still get to the arrow keys (and the function keys and what not) by using a combination of inputs but it’s quite obvious that this form factor isn’t going to be a hit if you desire lots of extra knobs and dials. It looks amazing, feels very sturdy and gives the feeling this will last a long time (even tho I had a loose screw?), if it had tighter keys/less wobble it would be absolutely perfect. 8.5/10. Would recommend! The PCB has been updated and improved, and two additional LED lights have been added to the spacebar. The DIP switch function has been newly optimized and a new keycode switch function added. The firmware has also been rewritten to offer a more stable typing experience. RGB is very bright and the keycaps feel great but i switched them out for puddings/rubbers cause RGB is my thing. The aluminum frame is too big for the pcb, plate etc there's a good 4mm gap on the right side of the keyboard and you can see to the bottom of the frame the bottom side has about a 3mm gap the left side and top side are flush with the frame it just bugs me at this price that the pcb, plate and keys are not flush with the sides of the whole frame. looking down at the board you can clearly tell the frame was molded too big and the gaps drive me insane

The detachable USB Type-C cable provides convenience to users. The Mecha uses USB HID with the highest frequency of 1000Hz polling rate –meaning the keyboard is sending its input signal(s) to your PC 1000 times per second. This feature minimizes any delay between the keys being pressed and the signals being received by your computer. I've owned this now for quite a few months, and have noticed so many bugs with firmware and daily use it's crazy you could be playing a game then all of a sudden your W key or E key will open windows or 3 other programs randomly? Like what!? Sometime hitting the tab key will close all programs for no reason, and many other weird things just happen randomly with different keystrokes(this also happened before I modded it, so it wasn't due to be resoldering the board) The RGB brightness is not adjustable for the preset modes, so it is almost blinding for me personally. But this obviously isn’t made for those people: it’s for those who want a premium keyboard that’s as compact as possible, and it does a great job at that. The bezels have gotten even thinner with this new case, making it one of the most compact keyboards you can get without going into custom built territories.

We use USB HID with the highest frequency of 1000Hz polling rate, meaning the keyboard is sending its input signal(s) to your PC 1000 times per second. I personally think that not having software is a massive disadvantage, and I have really grown to hate this keyboard because of it. If you want a well-built small keyboard and don't care about the software side of things (RGB, firmware) and want to roll the dice on not having firmware issues, the price for this keyboard is pretty fair. My next keyboard will probably be from another manufacturer, however.

Gets extremely dirty under the caps, needs constant cleaning with duster to get out dust and small dirt This keyboard is built like a tank. No matter how much force I applied to the housing I couldn’t get it to budge even one millimeter, so you can rest assured that this keyboard will sooner break you than vice versa. Durable exceptional reliable performance - PBT double-shot seamless keycaps, German Cherry MX key switches I'm sorry to give this such a low rating I wanted to love it but for what I received I truly feel it's only worthy of 3 stars at this price At this point I own 6 different boards with experience in modding them and rebuilds. But you can make your own decisions.
