About this deal

Customers praised how quiet the PC case was and its solid construction. Especially when you consider the price, it is very well built! When it comes to a quiet PC case, it is best to avoid towers with tempered glass panels. These can let noise leak out and aren’t as quiet as closed-case units. Tempered glass panels are also not the best for airflow and require additional fans, making extra noise. The XL model comes standard with eight 3.5" and 2.5" mounts and can expand up to eighteen. 2.5" fitment for the XL is the same two included but can be expanded up to five total with extra trays. PSU fitment for both models is virtually unlimited with the preinstalled single HDD cage. The PSU area reaches up to 353mm with one cage in the Define 7 while the XL reaches up to 386mm. Installing two HDD cages drops PSU length to 227mm and 260mm for the XL version. This is more than enough for any current-gen PSU, even the insane long 1600W units. Load testing is conducted using Prime95 LFFTs and Kombustor “FurMark” stress testing simultaneously. Testing is completely automated using in-house scripting, and executes with perfect accuracy on every run. Thermal Testing

We can get ourselves a quiet PC case; that’s what we can do! The market has exploded with more of us craving a silent operation; quiet PC cases will use many technologies to keep the noise to a minimum. Unfortunately, they can’t do anything about the shouting when you get shot mid-heist! I have a 9-year old PC which is used for work (Office365, Teams etc), a bit of gaming (Civilisation mainly) and movie streaming (Netflix and others). Intel® Core™ i5 10-Core Processor i5-12600KF (3.7GHz) 20MB Cache The 12600K is still an incredible CPU for your uses and saving here allows a more balanced spec elsewhereCustomers praised this PC case’s size, offering plenty of space for a range of components and larger motherboards. What’s great about this case is how compatible it is with a range of motherboards! It can fit ATX, M-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards! Be Quiet!’s PC case is water-cooling ready and can house radiators up to 360mm on the top, front, or rear of the case. The flexibility of his PCS case is fantastic! The case also comes with two-preinstalled pure wings fans to ensure a quiet operation. There are a lot of storage options with this case too. You can mount up to 14 HDDs alongside 4 SSD mounts. The storage layout function is excellent for those with lots to fit into their PC tower! CORSAIR 850W RMx SERIES™ MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET Higher quality and higher wattage PSU to allow the system to run quieter and more efficiently, as well allow for a GPU upgrade down the road

Slightly modified version of the OP spec. KF version of CPU since you have a discrete GPU. RAM changed to 2x8GB (3200MHz). Storage altered to a 500GB for OS/main programs (250GB is really too small since you don't want it really over 50% full) and a 1TB M2 rather than SATA SSD. Otherwise the same. Not a fan of the case and would like a better storage set up personally but it's as close as I could get that's still capable of VR and "quiet" thermals are next. These numbers typically closely mirror the GPU torture numbers, as it’s a GPU-heavy load, but they can be impacted by the reduction on CPU focus versus our torture workloads. The 3DMark test loads the system similarly to how a game would, and so this is a stand-in benchmark for game thermals. We’ve been hot and cold on Fractal over the past couple years. Their whole lineup has had consistently high build quality, but our opinions have ranged from the highly-rated Meshify cases that have excellent cooling potential (with some aftermarket fans added in) down to the highly-priced and unexciting Define S2 Vision RGB. Today we’re reviewing the Define 7, successor to the Define R6, a case that fell on the positive end of that scale in our review. We’re sure there’s some reason for Fractal dropping the “R,” but we neglected to ask.
