We were looking for a comfortable car seat that would last us a few years, with a high level of safety. The separate carrycot and seat unit fabrics easily zip on and off the single pushchair frame, creating a more sustainable product which requires less storage space. The UPF 50+ hood protects little ones from the sun, while the coordinating apron, foot warmer, seat liner and carrycot ensure your little one is nice and cosy for every journey. Suitable from birth, the carrycot comes with a mattress which is perfect for flat-lying snoozes on the go.

It might be a consideration, for those looking to use with a newborn, that it is fixed in place so you cannot carry it out of the car, place it on a buggy or use it with a travel system. But the ease of the 360 spin, recline option and high level of safety with the ISOFIX, I feel, are a worthy trade. Final verdict The top tether attachment provides additional support while the built-in headrest offers improved protection from side-on collisions. The Rotator was designed to be used in the rear-facing position for even longer, taking baby from birth to 18kgs (*4 years approx.) providing enhanced protection. I will be phoning trading standards today (are they the right people?) as I strongly believe these seats need to be recalled! But I’m getting no where with anyone and can’t believe I’m having to fight so much when we’re talking about a child’s safety! For forward facing, the isofix and seatbelt fitting ensure a secure seat as your child grows (please note spin is not available for forward facing).
