About this deal

For Vizsla's weapon, art director Doug Chiang wanted something that could contrast Djarin's whistling birds and fork-shaped rifle. He coined a plasma laser that worked like a flamethrower, spilling onto the ground like molten lava upon the weapon's deactivation. Artist Christian Alzmann drew art for Chiang's idea. Matyas envisioned the Vizsla as the type to hold a gatling gun rather than the Western-style double pistols. The blaster cannon he ultimately designed [28] was intended to be a nod to the M56 Smartgun from the science fiction film Aliens. [29] Howell, Noah (December 5, 2019). PAZ VIZSLA: A descendant of the esteemed House Vizsla, brawny warrior Paz Vizsla is protected by the strongest beskar armor After speaking with the Armorer, [16] Djarin went on a mission to Mandalore to find the Living Waters, discovering that the world was survivable. With the help of the Mandalorian Nite Owl and revolutionary Bo-Katan Kryze, Djarin was able to find and bathe in the Waters, his companion having to save him when he fell too deep. [18] The pair soon returned to Vizsla's covert, where the heavy infantry Mandalorian spotted their ships land. Joined by a group of other covert Mandalorians, Vizsla stopped Djarin and Kryze, calling the former an apostate once again. Djarin claimed he had been to the Mines of Mandalore, but Vizsla still believed that the Mines were destroyed and that the planet was cursed. Kryze declared herself as witness, Vizsla asking who the "Nite Owl" was. [17]

Paz Vizsla is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. He first appeared in the first season of the Disney+ television series The Mandalorian as a member of the same tribe of Mandalorian warriors in service of the Armorer as the titular character, with whom Vizsla initially clashes with but later assists in repelling a remnant of the Galactic Empire. He willingly steps down from his confrontation with Din Djarin when the tribe's leader, the Armorer, reminds them of the moral code and way of the Mandalorian people. [3] Despite their differences, Vizsla and Djarin display a mutual respect for each other. [6] [18] This is demonstrated when Vizsla places his own safety and that of his tribe at risk to help Djarin at the end of "Chapter 3: The Sin". [6] When Djarin notes that this would place the sanctuary of the tribe's enclave at risk, Vizsla responds with the clan's credo, "This is the Way". Snowden called this "a genuine lump-in-the-throat moment as the Mandalorian's comrades have sacrificed everything to help the bounty hunter do the right thing". They left signs leading to their new covert along Glavis Ringworld's Kolzoc Alley that were visible to vision settings in a macrobinocular viewplate. Soon enough, Din Djarin was able to find the signs and make his way into the covert, collapsing before the Armorer due to his injuries. The Armorer had Vizsla tend to the new arrival, and the heavy infantry Mandalorian took some bacta spray to heal a wound on Djarin's left leg.
