About this deal

The Turbo Advanced shoots its ammo at up to 75 feet per second; a little above the comparable Nerf average. Who Should Buy The Excel Turbo Advanced While no attachments are included, the Turbo Shot includes 96 Zuru darts! Once it’s loaded you can fire 20 darts before flipping a switch to fire the next 20. When looking for a dart blaster with good ammo capacity for a fair price, this one is hard to beat.

Featuring a 40-dart drum, the X-Shot Excel Turbo Advanced is a spring-powered pump action powerhouse. There is very little assembly required, you just have to put the drum and snap on the blue plastic guards above it. For those of you wanting to relive your 80’s movie fantasies, the Crusher fits the bill. It comes in the usual Xshot shell format (blue, white, and orange panels that all screw together), with nice details in the molds. The main grip itself, while plain in shape, is textured perfectly for gripping, especially when holding at the hip. There are several sling points on the blaster for carrying it, but with how light it actually is, adding a sling is unnecessary unless you’re simply carrying it as extra equipment. h2>

The Crusher shoots quite well, although Xshot darts are notoriously inaccurate. Dart averageds 80fps in my testing, so slightly heavier darts (Nerf, Dart Zone, etc) should expect averages in the high 70s. In addition, it was easy to maintain three darts per second while in slamfire. Firing at an angle. the 90′ range claims are indeed possible.

There are plenty of X-Shot darts included, 48 to be exact, so you have more than enough to fill the 35-dart chain. To add to the fun, you can get extra links to extend the chain or wear on your shoulders like Rambo. Don't shoot at point blank range – foam darts are soft, but if you get hit by them at very close range they might sting a little. The darts won't have any chance to slow down in the air, so at that range they'll be hitting you as hard as they can. div class="bvseo-author">Answered by: ZURU X Shot

If you haven’t heard of them, X-Shot is a brand of Nerf-style foam dart guns that is owned by the Zuru toy company.

Operation

On top of the blaster is a sight that looks cool but doesn’t magnify or really help with the aim. Other notable features include an unjamming access door and trigger safety. It will be exciting to see the route they go when it comes down to designing new blasters for the future.

The shell is solid, nothing creaks, and it looks great. Can’t think of any real complaints there. As a company that really doesn’t paint their blasters, Zuru does manage to make their blasters look good. X-Shot by Zuru currently has guns with foam ammo types comparable to Nerf’s standard Elite dart and Nerf Rival rounds. These ammo types are not perfectly compatible as they are not exactly the same. h2>

Like Rival, the Chaos series shoots much harder than a standard Nerf gun, so it may not be as suitable for younger kids. The X-Shot dart is about equal when it comes to the quality of the Nerf Elite dart. However, X-Shot darts are lighter and fly a little further on average. One barrel in the center is where all the darts are launched from, but there are six barrels that spin while it fires. If you are looking for an enjoyable blaster that can be used in a lot of different ways, the Regenerator is highly recommended. Egg Shot Excel Crusher Foam Dart Blaster

Be mindful of your surroundings – in the chaos of a Nerf vs X Shot battle, it's all too easy to lose sight of trip hazards and other dangers. Be mindful of what's around you during play, and take care to remove as many hazards as possible before you start.

We put up a target and used each toy gun to fire several rounds of foam darts, judging them on how firmly the darts hit the target, and how easily we were able to hit the same spot consistently. Ease of use div class="bvseo-author">Answered by: Dylan 1468

A product's "Manufacturer's Age" range on Toysrus.ca & Babiesrus.ca is provided by the product's manufacturer. This suggested age range may be based on what age range the manufacturer recommends will like the product best, or what age range is appropriate based on safety information and restrictions. div class="bvseo-author">Answered by: THE_NERF_boi

Looking for a different type of budget blaster that can fire 12 darts before reloading, the Xcess is a fun option. span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope>Cmax from Nobody wants to spend more time fiddling around with their toy gun than playing with it, so we assessed how straightforward each toy was to handle, fire, and reload, and we considered how convenient its capacity was.
