It’s just dropped as a bomb after he’s done the deed with the h, to make him seem more edgy. It was handled so strangely. And then just forgotten. Okie dokie. As always, her characters are real. Their problems are real. They live like normal people. So it’s so easy to fall in love with her writing. If Brandon was going to masturbate while fantasizing about Mariana, I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t do it in his office, in the church, with the door open, only moments after she left.

And the other obvious fact here is the exhibition of one’s feelings where everything is made public and therefore loses its importance.I just felt like I was missing something- because although the writing wasn't necessarily bad, the story was just really surface-level. And when considering the fact that there wasn't really a plot behind this book, that just didn't make sense to me.

Whitney knows that she’s not perfect, however even sinners deserve to keep a shred of their dignity.Author Skyler Mason writes a story of a young woman, Mari, who doesn’t believe that G•d exists for her and does not have her heavily religious-driven family’s support. They have traditional antiqued beliefs and follow the p•rity culture that Mari doesn’t fit into.
