Something I always hankered for were the vehicles but we could never afford them (though I did save up for a Speeder in time). The Snowspeeder used to be one of those that I most eyed with envy, I loved it. Because of the extreme conditions it was used in, the snowspeeder had to have heating coils built into the seats to support the crew. The snowspeeder also had mini-deflector shields to protect the crew from flying debris. [2] History [ ] During the Galactic Civil War, the Partisans had access to T-47s during their insurgency on Jedha. [9] During the Battle of Hoth, these snowspeeders used tow cables to disable All Terrain Armored Transport (AT-AT) walkers by firing the tow cable and chasing it out around the walker's legs, stopping its locomotion and immobilizing the walker. The plastic is similar to what was used on the 6"-scale Tie Fighter, but it doesn't feel flimsy because of how compact this ship's elements are as a whole. The plastic does make the ship somewhat light in weight, which I actually appreciate.
