About this deal

From the beginning, you want to punch Lena, hating her guts and wanting to throw the book against the wall, cursing like a sailor. But resume your reading maybe Lena is not the real bad guy of this story, because nothing as it seems and nobody is innocent in this family. If you read one book on your life, make sure it is this!!!! I would love to see this turned into a movie and Ruth I really hope you are working on your next psychological thriller at this moment because this book will go far!!! A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS on what promises to be a MASSIVE success!!! THE HUSBAND: Even though Dan had his head turned by someone else, he’s realised the error of his ways. He’s here now, and he says it’s for keeps. Clare can trust him, can’t she? At least he’ll have his brother there, to keep him in line… I really wasn't sure about the characters at all, but this added to the suspense and the total feeling of mis-trust (maybe I was just being paranoid) I had throughout. It made me start to formulate theories, which were obviously all wrong and it had me depsperate to get to the end to see the final twist.

I hated Dan character so much , he is disgusting and pathetic and mummy boy and i swear to god that i know that Ella dead sister will be one of his mistresses. I give this book 2 stars. I kept hoping it would get better; that at some point the plot twist would appear and redeem my review…and it just didn’t. After tonight there will be no more hiding, no more secrets, and no more lies. If there's a hurricane building, I'm ready to face the storm." Lizzy Beresford is at home alone when she finds a chilling letter in her kitchen. Someone has been into her home – someone who wishes Lizzy harm.Ella, THE SISTER-IN-LAW is everything Clare isn’t. Glamorous. Young. Influential. But she knows a secret about Clare. Something that has the power to break the whole family apart. Clare and Ella do not get on. The rest of the story is told on pins and needles as the main character is frantic with worry over what her new sister in law may or may not tell everyone. What can she do? what should she do? What will happen if she does nothing? And more importantly....what is her big secret?? Oh the tension and suspense! This book does not disappoint! I only wish the ending had more fall out for some characters and we got to see more action from it. The book felt very choppy, and was hard to get invested in. I thought the premise of the story was interesting, but it just didn’t connect with me. Overall, I was disappointed.

THE WIFE: Clare is ready for a break. It’s been a tough year and now she wants to put her feet up. Arriving at the Italian villa for their summer holiday, she decides it’s high time her husband and his family did some of the work. After all, her husband owes her…

The Sister-in-Law is a gripping psychological thriller by Sue Watson. It is an entertaining read that I found hard to put down! Ella was so evil that she made my insides quiver, her darts of poisonous arrows found their mark. The barbs were fantastic in the dialogues. The ending was most unexpected. Sheesh I should have guessed it. But what can I say, Sue Watson had hidden it in plain sight...
