About this deal

Air Purification - The dehumidifier features an air purification function which includes a plasma ioniser and UV sterilisation.

There is nothing worse than your dehumidifier breaking down just after the Manufacturer's warranty has expired. Here at Buy It Direct Ltd we want you to get the most out of your dehumidifier, which is why we offer a5 Year Warranty plan. With a 10 litre capacity, the Electriq CD10L is clearly designed for smaller homes than the excellent CD20LE. Unfortunately, we don't think it matches the performance of its bigger sibling. Electriq dehumidifiers often go under the radar compared to the "big three" manufacturers ( Ebac, E coAir and Meaco) - but they are starting to grow in popularity. Who are Electriq though? Which are the company's the best dehumidifiers? And are there any you should avoid? Let's find out. Who Are Electriq? If youre finding it difficult to dry laundry outside due to the unpredictable weather or large amount of clothing then youll be pleased to hear that the CD20L comes with a laundry mode setting. This clever little feature significantly reduces the drying time of damp laundry on a radiator airer/towel With a range of domestic dehumidifiers, relatively low prices and some interesting new features (including smart connectivity and antibacterial properties), it's easy to see why consumers are starting to take note of this new company. Two Fan Speeds - The unit sports two fan speeds. The lower speed is quieter and the higher speed gives better air flow and improved performance.

This doesn't mean the CD10L has no redeeming qualities. It's just as quiet as the CD20LE, at 42dB, and has a high build quality. It's also relatively energy efficient and lightweight - along with being one of the cheapest Electriq models.Traffic Light System - There's a large circle on the front of the appliance. Its colour changes depending on the current humidity - red for "High", orange for "Above Recommended" and green for "Ideal".

Low Energy - The electriQ 20L Dehumidifier is an energy efficient appliance which runs on only 240W. It has a rotary compressor, and uses up to 40% less energy when compared to standard dehumidifiers available. It's not the most powerful dehumidifier on the market - you wouldn't expect it to be with the low energy consumption. But it can do a decent job at removing water, especially at room temperature or above.Drainage - The electriQ 20L Dehumidifier gives you the option of a permanent drainage tube or, if there's no direct drainage available, it will fill up the large 4 litre tank which needs emptying every so often. The Electriq 10l dehumidifier is a solid model, but, unlike the 20L version, we can't recommend it over alternatives such as the Meaco Small Home Dehumidifier. It's easy to use and relatively cheap, but struggles to remove enough water from the air compared to its closest competitors. All costs includes parts, labour, call out and delivery charges, so you can rest assured there are no hidden costs. For smaller units we may ask you to return it to our UK repair centre.
