About this deal

There were also some amazing, amazing scenes with his best friends Mason and Logan Kade. The bromance was epic. I freaking loved those scenes. If you’ve read the Fallen Crest books, you will know who I’m talking about. And if you haven’t yet, you’ll want to read them once you read the scenes between these guys! They had me laughing my ass off. The ball-busting was on point! And there were many heart-felt moments too. I DIEDDDD. I love these guys so damn much!

Characters- Nate is now this emotionally detached man, that has trouble feeling emotions. This is due to his shitty parents, his brother’s death, and his friends who froze him out after he returned home. Say what? In the previous books, Nate mentioned several times that he had great parents. They weren’t around a ton, but he always said they were loving. Also, Nate was never on the outside (until he acted like a jerk with the Parker & Sebastian situations) Logan was actually jealous when he returned, because Mason and Nate were such buds. And, when did his brother die? I just reread the entire series, and I would think I could remember if Nate was dealing with the death of his brother after returning his senior year. I led the way off the patio and to a corner of the yard. A few people had gathered outside, but they weren’t paying us any attention. I looked at my brother. “What’s got you worked up? Did you really hate Sebastion that much?” He was annoying, but damn, a bug could be squashed easily. Logan’s reaction didn’t make sense. The secondary characters were cool. Kept me on my toes with all the new twists. I am so glad this ain't the last book. I won't get over Mason and Logan and I want both the brothers to get their happy ending. Duke is Quincy's controlling and emotionally absusive father (who had separated her from her mother, step father and siblings growing up) and who encouraged Quincy to get the PI (to investigate his lifestyle and hope it meant that he wouldn't be interested in having a baby) and to confront Nate with the news about his daughter and to give him papers signing custody of baby Nova to her. Logan laughed, throwing his arm around her shoulders. He jerked his chin up, saying to Nate, “Forget the bullshit about who you’re bunking with, you’re a good man to me right now.” He glanced sideways at me as he added, “I’m all about staying out of trouble, you know.”I was following her wishes, doing what she wanted. Though I hadn’t a clue why she was doing it this way. While I hated that this book had the Threesome Fearsome apart for most of the book, a lot was accomplished. I love that the author could have had several things come between Mason and Samantha and that she didn't take that route. Instead, she reinforced how much these two belong together and had them reacting in ways you want a couple to react in times of adversity. It also showed the growth in their relationship.

It was crawling under my skin, slowly coming up and covering my whole body. It was like a weird awareness that I had no control over and c obviously, there were some emotional scenes that made me tear up a little bit though, especially when it comes to Blaise's PTSD from his abusive past and Aspen thinking about her dead brother. also, the ending was soo rushed that i feel like the last few chapters should've been longer. especially since there was girl friendship/group at the end and i wanted to see more of that!! Then I was inside Maisie and starting the engine. “I have to go,” I said in a rush before I closed the door. A second later, I was out of there, tears streaming down my face.

I meant to reach out later, maybe see what could be there, but I didn’t. I didn’t know why I didn’t, I just didn’t. Then she reached out six months later. Mark grinned. “Your dad sent us up here.” He frowned, scanning the rest of the group. “We were thinking the other football players were up here. He wanted to challenge you guys to a scrimmage since we’re not playing each other this year.” The dude had been following me for the past three weeks. I caught glimpses of him every now and then. He showed up in Boston, then Chicago, and now he was following me in Seattle.

SO that's why I just wrote the review, instead of burning this novel to pieces. Because I am polite and still love Tijan and her novels.

Nate by Tijan Summary

So those rumors are true?” I asked. Oh wow! Like, wowza wow. “Is that why you moved here? To get to know your brother and sister? I heard they were twins.”

We get involved in the family dynamics of two different groups, and there is no way you can not feel on your skin, all the pain and overcoming that these characters lived. Their scars run bone deep and their healing process are not a beautiful one, it's raw and angry, but when they have each other, they also get the strength to deal with it, and it's amazing to see they overcoming their demons! Nate’s daughter was super cute. For those who don’t like kids in books — she didn’t overwhelm the story. She fit right in at the right moments. I liked how her addition to Nate’s life changed his outlook. The Love Story: Six months after getting custody of her niece Nova, Quincey meets Nate to tell him about his daughter. She (and her father Duke), want Nate to give up his parental rights. However, Nate takes both the fact that they waited six months and their request to sign away his rights as an act of war. La relación romántica no tuvo desarrollo tuvieron que pasar páginas y páginas porque no es un libro corto, para que se dieran UN BESO y es aproximadamente en el 70% las escenas hot son MEEH.

And then the mafia appear (just kidding - it's the hero's brothers) to stop him from inserting common sense into her for going alone and telling nobody. I loved Boston and Fallen Crest, but Seattle was different. It felt different, or maybe it was just me. Maybe I was different here? Nate does in fact have a baby...he’s the proud new papa of a daughter. What else he has is the making of a headache. The baby mama had died and left their baby to be raised by her sister, Quincey. Which brings us to the DUN DUN DUN moment....The heroin of our cautionary tale is...you guessed it...Quincey. Mark and his teammates left and it wasn’t long before Straven took off with the rest of the cross country guys. Logan’s friend remained behind, but he stood at a distance from us, waiting for Logan to start running again. The romance between Aspen and Blaise is awesome. Tijan writes good romance and she does great book boyfriends. Blaise is great with Aspen and though he was never one to date, he gets hooked on her pretty fast. It helps that she is model pretty (actually having done some modeling in the past). The major conflicts in the story were terrific, though I won’t specify what those are. I really enjoyed that characters from other Tijan books made up much of the supporting cast. It is really making me want to move some of those books I missed up to the top of my TBR.
