We see if these new wireless earbuds from Sweden have more in their corner than just a quirky strain or whether they will give you the blues in our full review. The earbuds are attached to long stems reminiscent of Being an open-fit earbuds, there is no seal to keep the ambient noise out nor the bass intensity impactful. Such is the characteristic of such earbuds, and personally I am not a fan. Open-fit earbuds are difficult to enjoy at noisy places, and turning the volume up does not help much without an in-canal seal. The benefit is that they can be left on your ears even when no music is played.

Make sure your ”Defunc TRUE AUDIO” is turned on and you should be able to see the TRUE AUDIO product. The app lists all the available speakers as ”Defunc HOME SMALL XXXX” and ”Defunc HOME LARGE XXXX”. Tap on the speaker that you want to set up, then tap ”Next.” Please note: The first speaker in the list is always pre-selected.As for calls, they sound fine on the earbud side, but I was told that I sounded muffled on the other side of calls. What I like Play/pause: While listening to music, tap the touch area of any earbud once to play and pause the music. Make sure that the left LED indicator on the front of the speaker is flashing with a yellow colour. The TRUE GO earbuds have touch controls instead of a physical button to answer/end calls or play/pause media. You’ll need to remember different tap commands for each earbud because some taps only work on a specific earbud.In terms of durability, the Defunc True Go Slim has an International Protection (IP) code of IPX4, indicating that it is resistant to water splashes from any direction. This makes it suitable for outdoor activities or use in humid environments. Although the Defunc True Go can deliver decent audio and sit comfortably in the ear, the experience is marred by overly sensitive controls and strangely loud status messages. Ok, let’s start with that name. Maybe something has been lost in translation, as Defunc might sound groovy in Sweden, but elsewhere it’s easy to mistake for defunct, which is something you don’t want to brand your device. It’s now time to name your speaker. The speaker has a pre- entered product default name in the app. You can keep this name, change it to another preset name or create your own name. Tap the arrow in the top right corner on the screen when you’re done First of all, the TRUE GO earbuds are super lightweight which to me makes them feel pretty cheap, but they should also feel great in your ears right? Ok, no. They didn’t fit my ears at all and kept feeling like they were going to fall out. They also weren’t able to seal out any surrounding noise because the fit was so bad in my ears.
