Typically, one of the first benchmark tests we run is UL's PCMark 10. Unfortunately, budget laptops normally don't have enough memory to run the tests properly, so we couldn't quantify performance for a comparison as we normally would. The HP Laptop 14's processor helps it nab the top spot here, but the Dell still manages to best most of the competition.In conclusion, The outcome of the test is surprising considering that the 8th Gen processor of the Lenovo Ideapad S540 performed better than the 10th Gen processor of the Dell Inspiron 15. The Inspiron 15 3000 didn't do that well here, coming second to last, with only the MSI Modern 14 doing worse. Of course, the chances of doing any serious multimedia work on a budget laptop are unlikely. In conclusion, I would recommend this laptop only for users who need an affordable laptop for general usage.

The Inspiron 15 3000 is what it says on the box. It's a budget-friendly laptop. It has a large, 15.6-inch display, a full number pad, and plenty of legacy ports. What surprised me about the Inspiron 15 3000 is how much it can get done despite its modest specs. Comparatively, the laptop is heavier than the Lenovo Thinkpad X250 which measures 306 x 209 x 20 mm and weighs 1360g.The model I reviewed shipped with a 512 GB SSD. 512 GB of storage should be sufficient for most people to store pictures, music, videos, and games. Diagnostic Error Codes will always supersede any other use of the LED. For instance, on Notebooks, battery codes for Low Battery or Battery Failure situations will not be displayed when the Diagnostic Error Codes are being displayed. Thankfully, in my opinion, the Dell Inspiron 15 laptop has a premium design as well as a solid build quality. Therefore, I will rate it a nine in this aspect.
