About this deal

When the mixture starts holding together shape it into a ball. You’ve just made your own biscuit dough. Cover the bowl and put it in the fridge for twenty minutes. That was fun! Did you notice it's all different stamps? Can we read it again, right away? Winston is soooo cute and adorable! Let's read it again before Christmas; let's read it in Advent. Now is the really fun part! Put your boiled sweets into a clean tea towel – one colour per towel – then bash them lightly with a rolling pin, until they are all broken up.

If you count down to Christmas or like seasonal stories (or both), then I highly recommend How Winston Delivered Christmas. And that's from someone who doesn't like animals teaming up with Santa. Though Winston doesn't, he just delivers a letter. Thanks so much for your lovely message and for everything that you do with Book Wagon. Yourself and Bob are much cherished in our booky world and I personally really appreciate everything that you do.Gemeinsam mit dem Mäuserich Maximilian, begibt man sich auf eine turbulente und abenteuerliche Reise durch eine große verschneite, weihnachtliche Stadt kurz vor dem heiligen Abend. This is the perfect book to read together as a family during Christmas, and do some of the activities together! Cut a hole in the middle of each biscuit with a small cutter. Ask your grown up to help you with this!

I got the idea when I was helping my niece and nephews write their letters to Father Christmas and I wondered (with a shiver) what would happen if one of the letters got waylaid? Hopefully there would be some kind of person (or in this case a mouse) to deliver it for us. And what adventures would they have? I'd give it to Santa. I'd look for a red light in the sky. So I'd have a ladder, and I'd climb up onto a building, and if I saw a helicopter I'd grab onto it. I'd give the letter to Santa Claus. The instructions for these stained glass window biscuits are taken from How Winston Delivered Christmas with kind permission from Macmillan Children’s Books Ingredients The busy bustling shops, the glitzy decorations, the waiting and then of course the big day itself! The advent calendar chapters. There are 25 chapters, which means children can read one a day in December. I've never seen anything like that before, and I thought it was really smart and sweet. I didn't read it like that but, especially for children, that's a lovely option. Once they are cooked let them cool and then enjoy! They will look really great and taste even better! Winston is on a Very Important Mission. On Christmas Eve, he finds a letter to Father Christmas that did not make it to the post box – so, with no time to lose, he sets out to deliver it himself in time for Christmas Day! He has a lot of Very Exciting Adventures on his Very Important Mission and makes some wonderful friends along the way. Will he find Father Christmas in time?
