You can basically sell these for a profit years from now if you want to.

This will be the first time that I won't jump into a new Pokemon generation at launch. Everything I have seen so far looks like a straight up downgrade compared to Sword and Shield, especially when it comes to character design and trainer customization. With Game Freak being equal shareholders with Nintendo for The Pokémon Company, there is a very good reason why Nintendo hasn't been making many Pokémon games. Nintendo is there for the marketing, the branding, the international publishing, and exclusivity. The games themselves are not for them to touch, though Nintendo has a high enough stake in the company to make executive decisions, but only with the higher-ups. Splatoon theme looks nice even if I don't particularly care for the style the series has, Pokemon is a bit too busy and I don't think red & purple make for a nice color combination either. Sometimes..the impression it gives is that only Nintendo has access to all the development tools on its consoles. It's like Nintendo doesn't give access to all the tools to other studios.
