About this deal

Princess in the Spotlight – Just when Mia thought she had the whole princess thing under control, things get out of hand, fast. First, there’s an unexpected announcement from her mother. Then Grandmère arranges a national primetime interview for the brand-new crown princess of Genovia. In the 2001 Disney Movie, Lilly, portrayed by Heather Matarazzo, is portrayed as intelligent, confident, and socially conscious. Her talk show is called "Shut Up and Listen". She is then a student at Berkeley. In The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, Mia appoints Lilly as her royal secretary. Ransom My Heart is about Fair Finn, the youngest among seven siblings, the boyish among the brood. Finnula Crais was born into a really big family but her parents soon passed away. At least, however, she had an older brother who was old enough to raise the rest of the family.

Royal Wedding – For Princess Mia, the past five years since college graduation have been a whirlwind of activity, what with living in New York City, running her new teen community center, being madly in love, and attending royal engagements. And speaking of engagements. Mia’s gorgeous longtime boyfriend Michael managed to pop the question! The answer was a royal oui. The novel is supposed to be about Princess Mia dealing with the pandemic arriving at her doorstep. In my opinion, the author had a great chance to give some substance to the characters instead the majority of the book is just fluff. No real conflict. Worse, Mia is still insecure about her husband Michael. She passes her time drinking wine in sweatpants. She says she is worried about her family and the people of Genova but she doesn't do much except a couple of indictments to mandate masks and social distancing. Worse, all the fun of reading it went away between how political the book was and Mia making fun of Americans. The novel sets in the Middle Ages and it was so authentic. The language, the names and the descriptions, just everything made me feel as if I really was in the Middle Ages with the characters. You can see that Meg put a lot of research into it.

The book is a bunch of diary entries by Princess Mia. She is a grown-up now and ruling Genovia like a boss. She is now a mother of twins and married to Michael. From the outside looking in, she has a perfect life. But then the coronavirus starts hitting the news and she is about to face another challenging task; trying to keep the people of Genovia safe while raising her family. It's kinda cringe that Mia is still insecure about Judith Gershner after all these years. It's not like Michael and Judith ever had a long-term relationship; they hooked up once and that was it. I can understand teenage Mia freaking out about it, but adult Mia, wedded mother of two, whose husband had never given her reason to worry? Just comes off as silly The only difference is that Mia's country has a competent leader who actually listens to science/reason. Meh. All I can think is that I liked the beginning and I liked how badass Finnula Crais was at the beginning. I liked her huntress skills and her leather trousers and her defiance but then along came her pregnant sister Mellana with a ridiculous plan to gain money. I swear I laughed my ass off at the ridiculousness of the whole kidnapping idea, I mean honestly that was just childish. While I have not read all the books in the series, I was excited to receive this ARC of The Quarantine Princess Diaries.Princess Charlotte, Duchess of Valentinois (1898–1977): the illegitimate daughter of Louis II, Prince of Monaco, later legitimized as his legal heiress; mother of Rainier III, Prince of Monaco.

The issues I had with this book are the massive amounts of politics, political correctness, wokeness, and anti-America/Americans are 'idiots' trope. This is from an author who was born in Indiana! Quarantine Princess Diaries doubles as an informative read about covid and what we can do to stop the pandemicJazmin Grace Grimaldi (1992–present): the illegitimate daughter of Albert II, Prince of Monaco, born and living in the U.S. Meg is now writing a new children's series called Allie Finkle's Rules for Girls. Her new paranormal series, Abandon, debuts in Summer of 2011. Personally, I haven't been in the happiest place lately and desperately needed a comforting hug. Unfortunately I abhor hugs. Both Finnula’a and Hugo’s personalities and motivation are nicely elaborated, and the secondary characters are also well-drawn. Ms. Cabot is able to characterize them with only a few sentences: Finnula’s family members, Peter, the Laroche family, the troubadour, Brissac sheriff, even the sheriff’s mom are distinguishable. We all know by the synopsis what this book is about. It's about Mia and her family and extended family living through the first year or so of Covid and being quarantined! This series has now been running for 22 years!
