About this deal

It took 250 tonnes of steel, bent and twisted around the monster, to hold it down. We converted the steel that imprisons the creature into the tangled rollercoaster you see here today.

Hidden within the catacombs beneath Forbidden Valley, a nest filled with eggs has been discovered. Believed to belong to the Nemesis creature and with renewed interest in the Phalanx generated by the park's marketing department, rumours began spreading that Nemesis Sub-Terra could be reopening. The ride never really managed to rise above its bumpy arrival into the park. Whilst the modifications were certainly an improvement on the original version of the ride, the height clearance of the building meant that the drop towers at the heart of Sub-Terra were too short to offer any real thrill. This meant that the attraction was too scary for some (due to the storyline and live action elements) and too tame for others (due to the actual ride itself), leaving an increasingly small segment of guests to enjoy the ride in its entirety.Armstrong, Jeremy (24 November 2015). It’s a disappointment, as Sub Terra has a great look, does a fantastic job of translating its absorbing concept to interesting gameplay and makes a strong first impression. Unfortunately, spend too much time trapped in its depths and you might end up climbing the walls.
