About this deal

The writer and creator of the YouTube channel and production house Pursuit of Wonder brings you his debut book, Notes from the End of Everything. The modern classic of space opera that began with Children of Time continues in this extraordinary novel of humanity's battle for survival on a terraformed planet. Similar to the novel This is How You Lose the Time War, The Prince of Milk is a story that spans both time and space, but this book mostly focused on a small town in England. There is a rather long list of characters in this book, and it is hard to pin down if we have any “main” characters at all since the narrative is spread out among a dozen people. This sacrificed deeper character development, but it paid off since it managed to tell a vaster story in a shorter amount of time. This is juxtaposed to This is How You Lose the Time War, which only had two really fleshed out characters. And Mcalister makes out a fragment, blurry at first, then clear as day; the mechanism behind the curtain of Being, beyond all its veils, garments, and classifications: the true purpose of matter and energy.

Also this book messes with your head BIG TIME. I actually took it into myself to try and give the number 10A collection of short stories that bend the mind, pull the heartstrings, and explore the eternal questions of existence.

Transformation: Etherics in Corporia can return to their Etheric forms, [14] although there may be some unnamed restrictions or requirements on when this can be done. [15] An antimeme is an idea with self-censoring properties ; an idea which, by its intrinsic nature, discourages or prevents people from spreading it.Perception Manipulation: Capable of showing, within his eye, [36] visions of pieces of the Gestalt; The World in Itself, Truly. [37] Essentially, the true nature of and meaning behind reality. He is also capable of sharing qualia in the form of gems. [38] Type 4 Immortality: When Etherics enter Corporia through the world-schism to settle disputes, they are granted 500 incarnations to settle disputes before they are killed permanently. [9] Whenever they die in Corporia they are reincarnated as a random thing from Corporic history. [10] While they have a certain degree of choice over the gender or species they incarnate as, [11] humans are usually chosen for convenience. Just like a hotel, it's a place to sleep and be, only you don't sleep that much and you're barely a thing at all anymore. You keep the place bare like this because there's nothing left on the inside to express.” There is evil in the world, yet God claims he loves us. If he could remove that evil but chooses not to, then he is not all-loving as we're told he is. If he wants to remove that evil from the world but cannot, then why do we call him all-powerful? In any case, he's not truly God and there's nothing to be frightened of. Chin up.” “Goodnight”

It's fun to think that one day our great, great grandchildren may get that much closer to understanding what the hell creation is doing here in the first place, and glimpsing the underlying structure and nature of matter itself. Hopefully they won't live with the same existential horrors we all quietly face today in our own lives. Several galaxies and a dimension away, Wilthail is a small English village alternating between flower shows and the occasional divorce. Life ambles. Old men and women make peace with their gods. Little do they know three deities walk among them already, biding their time before an ancient grudge rears its head. From the beloved author of Whiskey, Words, and a Shovel comes the first volume in an all new series. Beomus is the protagonist of The Prince of Milk. After falling in love with Zorya, a married arbiter, a love punishable by being stripped of position, he eloped into the Corporia, pulling himself, Zorya, and Djall into it to settle their grudge.Probability Manipulation: Beomus is the one causing chaos in Etheria. Without him, lovers meet in boring fashions, each hour unfolds as expected, and there aren't any interesting coincidences. [34] Limited Extrasensory Perception: Etherics in Corporia as part of a grudge are able to sense each other. [12] [13] Intelligence: At least Extraordinary Genius (Shares the memories and knowledge of his Etheric form) | At least Extraordinary Genius (There is only one mindstate in The Prince of Milk, and Etherics remember all of their past mindstates, including as being everyone [7] and everything [8] in the Corporia) Name: Varies, includes Sergei, The Cat, Bjartur, Barnstable, and Denkov | His True Name can't be pronounced or heard by normal ears, but to them it sounds like the song of a dying star. [1] Is also known as Beomus, The Cat, and The Prince of Milk

What can I say about the writing? It's fantastic. Whimsical, magical, mind-blowing and strangely reminiscent of Neil Gaiman. I loved the writing. First off, yes, I am biased and although I love the work this author does on YouTube it's really been a while since a book has required a bit of intellectual effort from my side, which is a nice breath of fresh air. But as I said this whole review might be a falsehood brought upon by my extreme bias towards everything that Exurb1a does. Powers and Abilities: Immortality (Type 4), Limited Extrasensory Perception, Transformation, Technological Manipulation and Weapon Creation, Invisibility via Matter Manipulation, Dimensional Travel, Teleportation and Soul Manipulation | All previous abilities (With the exceptions of Immortality (Type 4), Technological Manipulation, and Weapon Creation), plus Immortality (Types 1 and 5), Enhanced Senses, Self-Sustenance (Type 2, likely types 1 and 3), Abstract Existence (Type 1), Telepathy, Creation, Probability Manipulation, Shapeshifting, Perception Manipulation, Body Puppetry, Quantum Manipulation There is evil in the world, yet God claims he loves us. But it isn't quite so scary if we all do it together. So let's do it together.”
