About this deal

Not_Soos that'd be the Split Pad Fit/Comfort. I've been using one for my Switch for 6 months and haven't taken it off. Feels really great and definitely recommended if you can take not having gyro/vibration. A bundle that includes a carrying case for your Nintendo Switch console and a screen protector for the console’s screen. Also includes an organising pad where you can store five Nintendo Switch game cards and two Joy-Con straps. The case can also be used as a stand for the console. Nonetheless, I actually need a new case (compact specific) so I'll likely get this new white TotK one, looks pretty decent

I love my hori but had to switch to the Binbok since they have rumble and motion control. The d pad is horrendous though. Lol.Already got myself a Pro Controller, another pair of Joy Cons (pink and green), and a GameCube adapter for my two GameCube Controllers (both platinum). This TomToc case looks great, and is exactly what I need. As long as it can fit a few game cards I'm grand If you're looking for more Tears of the Kingdom products, Nintendo will also be offering a collector's edition, amiibo, themed Switch OLED, a Pro controller and a carry case. The only negatives for me with the Compact is that they have no rumble/gyro (same negatives as the larger Hori pads) The Split Pad Compact is the perfect middle ground between the original Nintendo joy cons (which are far too small!) and the large Hori Split Pad Pro. The SP compact is definitely larger enough to make playing easier, but not too bulky.

InJeffable Yeh 100% mate, and the split compact certainly looks "the part" moreso than its larger bulkier brother! In total for Switch, I own a standard Pro Controller; wireless Hori Sonic; Pac-Man Split Pad Pro; Power-A wireless Mario Bros. 3 and Twilight Princess; and Power-A wired Super Mario Bros., Kirby, and Metroid Dread. I also have Joy-Con in grey, OLED white, blue Skyward Sword edition, and two pairs of Animal Crossing ones I never use.As always, unfortunately the controllers don't have the functionality that you'd come to expect from the joycon or pro-controllers. It's a shame, since I really like these designs.

HOME Button: Suspends the current software and opens the HOME Menu. The HOME Button blinks when you have a notification. If you look into it, there are no officially licensed joy-con with wireless or rumble, only non-licensed. That to me suggests that Nintendo simply don't allow 3rd party products to have these features. CJD87 Besides the comfort, one thing I like about the Split Pad Compact is that it maintains the design language of the Switch with Joy-Cons attached. It looks like something Nintendo themselves might have made if they had decided to make a bigger version of the Joy-Cons.

My kid bought me a Power A controller a couple of years ago. It worked for a month before the A button stopped working. I think I prefer Power-A controllers to Hori, but these are pretty neat. I like my Pac-Man Split Pad Pro, although it feels like it's made of cheap plastic, and there's a small gap on the sides that pinch and chafe the palms of your hands. Not very comfortable. I'd be curious to try out whatever that thing on the far-right is. Basically their Split Pad Pro but slimmer and seemingly more comfortable-looking. I've seen some of them in stores recently in just a generic solid color, but this is the first themed one I've seen. Anyway, the Split Pad Compact case I have is the white tomtoc one. Really clean and slim design with a high-quality zipper. Definitely an option if you'd rather have a low-profile case. Those TotK ones are nice, but they're pouches. They have unnecessary bulk unless you plan on carrying a lot of your Switch stuff in them. The Power A controllers might look nice (although I don’t care for this one), but they feel so cheap while being too pricey for the quality you get. Olmectron Yes, the split pad compact is not perfect for Zelda without motion controls, unfortunately I end up swapping them for normal joycons when I need that or use the Switch Pro Controller. I can understand the appeal of gyro aiming for TotK and why you'd prefer a controller that can offer that.Button Suspends the current software and opens the HOME Menu. The HOME Button blinks when you have a notification. The split pad compact is my go to Switch joycon alternative, so I'll probably end up getting the Zelda ones of these
