About this deal

Elyse Cohen thought she had it all figured out, trying to get Nash Hastings to finally see her as more than just a friend. However what she doesn’t anticipate is her life to become the play she is acting the lead in, when she starts to develop feelings for her co-star bad boy Asher Park too with the more time she spends with him. Though she knows she should be cautious around him, considering his involvement within the disappearance of his Ex. As for Emerson, the heroine. All I have to say is that she is a much bigger woman than I could and would ever be because I do not forgive and I don't forget. Asher Park, bad boy of the stage and the guy whose last girlfriend suddenly disappeared and hasn’t been heard from in almost a year. To say his return to Eden Falls Academy sparked some controversy would be an understatement. I had created a baby with another woman. I’d given another woman the one thing Emerson had craved the last few years—a baby girl. And if I knew her like I thought I did, there would not be a second olive branch extended to me from her. Not that anything scandalous had happened those few nights he’d slept in my room. Sadly for me, the only times I’d ever been kissed had happened during a game of Spin the Bottle.

Judy Corry’s novel “Meet Me There” is the story of Ashlyn Brooks, a sixteen year old. She believes she has met a charming and sweet Englishman in a dark Chemistry lab even though the man happens to be Luke Davenport, her biggest nemesis. The couple were distraught over a miscarriage, not much detail, and he got drunk and slept with his physio therapist who was also drunk as she was on a break with her boyfriend. Judy always has that talent to sunk you in with detailed scenes. For this book, she took it up a notch even more. And I adored it. And when I heard footsteps on the path outside my open balcony window the next night, I hurried down to help him before he could end up in the pond again.

Having their dual perspective allowed us to see the feelings they were not only hiding in regards to each other. But their thoughts when it came to them struggling with it, trying to figure how to handle it and ultimately what to do about it. Anyhow, I decided to read this book because I found out the cheating happened in the past and not in the present day. Still a hard pill to swallow, but I was curious to see how this story would pan out. After all, I do love a good second chance romance so I really wanted to go on this journey with these characters and see how they'd overcome this insurmountable obstacle. Vincent should be on top of the world when he leads his team to the playoffs, but when his best friend accidentally matches with Emerson, it’s like a dagger to his heart. He knows she deserves happiness after his betrayal broke their family apart, but watching her move on is proving harder than winning the Super Bowl.

So I was just asking Cambrielle and Elyse what they were going to wear to the Halloween dance,” Scarlett said once everyone had gotten themselves situated around the table. “What are the rest of you planning to dress up like?”The side characters were great, I just wish that there were more scenes with them. So I actually adored this book, however there were a couple of content themes that I wasn’t all for and that is why the book is at 4.5 stars. It was a closed door book so I expected some sexual tension, but there was a taboo relationship between two side characters that caught me off guard. But this book was still amazing! There was a hint of anxiety in his eyes at the mention of his parents leaving. And I hated seeing it because I hated that his family was even dealing with this. Dealing with the possibility of his mom not being here to watch him graduate. You would look so good,” I agreed with Scarlett. “Were you thinking of wearing one of the fancy gowns? Or the pirate clothes?” To stop feeling threatened by the fact that I’d married a strong and independent woman who didn’t need me like my patriarchal upbringing had told me a good wife should. The heroine had a miscarriage and they had fertility issues and she thinks she can't get pregnant again.

So my dad had three kids all born within a year and a half of each other in addition to being the stepfather to my oldest brother, Ian, who came from my mom’s first marriage. Having a female help with Vincent’s rehabilitation after his Achilles tendon injury had proven too much of a temptation for him to resist.

Sure, asking Ben out before I revealed my true identity probably wasn’t the greatest plan, but it was all about baby steps at this point. I mean, he would be graduating at the end of the year, and since we were already in the last week of October, there wasn’t a whole lot of time left for me to get up the nerve to make something happen. I also liked Elyse from the beginning. She was driven but she was also the quiet twin. I actually don't usually like these kinds of characters, but there was something different about her. She was full of life and her little quirks were funny. I liked her overactive imagination, she was just so relatable. It was sweet how she went out of her way to get to know Asher and how she became his friend first. Their romance was sweet. Elyse had to learn to step out in faith and not just settle.

As long as the feelings stay as fake as the show we’re putting on, there shouldn’t be a problem. Right? Judy Corry has a distinctive way of writing and can make cute moments even in the most crappy stories .. like this one .. while I couldn't stand Vincent and Emerson, there were some good moments through out the bookNow how did I come to have two brothers who were both seniors but not twins, despite the fact that they shared the same dirty-blond hair and aqua-blue eyes?
