what can I say other that I'm obviously veeeery late to the party. it must have been special when it came out. I bet the guys were drowning in it. and just to be clear, it's a solid like from me even today. but with current formulation and its performance, the only use I'd have of it would be before and after workout and only in the summer. you can tell even without trying it in the past that it just feels... weakened.

The DNA, character, personality and identity of Cool Water is simply gone and replaced with garbage. Price is good, and I would say blind buy safe too if you want a change, also uber masculine, so sorry ladies, I wouldn't want to smell this one on any of you, I'd be weirded out!!! I have written a review earlier..,but just want to remind myself, that this is a Calone-Evernyl bomb. Sadly, this perfume as an old school classic had gone through severe reformulations and now this is more of Aftershave Lotion, than a perfume actually. This fragrance has reigned supreme for damn near 35 years. The fact that it still smells so incredible makes this a masterpiece. After collecting 100 common, unique, vintage, and rare collectible drops. This guy is my #1 best friend and signature cologne.

Our battlegrounds, I like to believe smelled as the Creed lab that created Green Irish Tweed would have before its perfection. I just got a bottle that smells like OG cool water and it lasts 6+ hours. Almost afraid to re-apply throughout the day. I will say this smell is outdated, but I would personally wear it anyways, I honestly enjoyed it, also if you are looking for uniqueness I guess this would be it now because there's not many frags been worn like this from what I experience when I'm out and about. I've had Cool Water previously but it was my mother's part used bottle and was the "deodorant spray" rather than the actual EdT, it also had turned and smelt like overripe melon and pencil shavings so I binned it.This was my fragrance in 1998 when I was 21 and lived a carefree life. I loved it, went through a bottle, then moved on with my life. That said, I'm not swooning. It's a simple scent which may actually reside best with the bath and body products. Sillage and longevity of the fragrance are very modest, on me at least. I even suspect that the body lotion may have more heft than the fragrance. Davidoff introduced Cool Water for Women a decade following the original Cool Water for Men, and it's like a refreshing dip in the ocean. This floral aquatic fragrance exudes a serene aura reminiscent of ocean breezes and cooling seawater, accompanied by a fusion of fruits and woods. After middle school I denied Cool Water as Peter did Jesus. I thought it cheap and outdated, unwilling to be associated with such a fragrance I denounced it roundly. 20 odd years later, while in law school, I finally came home.
