About this deal

Elencherò in ordire sparso tutte le cose che non mi sono piaciute (potrebbe essere una lista mooooolto lunga) e poi vediamo se rimane qualcosa di positivo da dire. Tahereh Mafi is a best-selling YA Fantasy author best known for the Shatter Me series. However, she’s also written other books like This Woven Kingdom and A Very Large Expanse of Sea. The latter was named one of the best YA books of all time by Time Magazine. The story was cut down a little bit. It connected the events of books 2 and 3. Although not as intimate as Destroy Me, I did gain a profound understanding of Adam’s love for his sibling. In addition, we learned what led up to the first chapter of Ignite Me. Critics

Fracture Me (Shatter Me Novella) by Tahereh Mafi | eBook

This is an excerpt from my review of the whole Shatter Me series. Read the full review here: https://bibliomad.wordpress.com/2015/... I won't say I hate Adam, I love the guy though he's really cheesy and it's kinda lame BUT he's a guy who need a sweet girl and Juliette might be silent when people bullied her but she is not weak or sweet. For someone to be able to stay sane, calm in an asylum for so many days, you had to have a strong mental psychic. And when she found out she was not the only one with ability, she started feeling better about herself, 'she was not a freak'. Which was something Warner insisted on. As for the other characters; James is adorable and funny, loved him. Kenji is fantastic, seriously fantastic. Id give him his own book. I want him as my new best friend, loved loved loved him. Castle was not so great although I did like his and Kenji’s relationship. Like the novels, if you wish. But at least like them knowing the facts: Warner is abusive. Juliette and Warner are in an abusive relationship.Just because I was told it gets better and because I was promised a strong Female lead (a unicorn amongst books🦄)

On the battlefield, it seems like the odds are in their favor—but taking down Warner, Adam's newly discovered half brother, won't be that easy. The Reestablishment can't tolerate a rebellion, and they'll do anything to crush the resistance . . . including killing everyone Adam has ever cared about. Hey,” I say, meeting him across the room. “Hey, hey.” I grip his shoulders, drop to one knee. “What’s going on? Why the tears? What happened?” Jesus.” I’m so filled with rage I can hardly see straight. “I could kill Castle for letting this happen—for being so goddamn soft with him—”

I went into the Shatter Me series very skeptical. I'd heard the strikeouts were annoying and that the writing style was strange and confusing. Well, I absolutely couldn't disagree more! With the Shatter Me series, Mafi cemented herself as an A-list writer on my score sheet. Mafi was born in a small Connecticut village on November 9th, 1988. She is the youngest of five siblings; her four older brothers are all male. Mafi’s parents are native Iranians. When she was 14 years old, she and her family relocated from Northern California to Orange County. And Omega Point (rebels really cool little hideout) just seems to be used as a stage for Juliette and Adams relationship (if you can even call it that) drama. I mean come on! So much potential to make me fall in love and be dying to go to Omega Point and its just tarnished by stupid arguments. This at least is pointed out by the fantastic Kenji, who straight up lets them know that they are being dumb. (Kenji is fab btw). You know how you meet someone with such passion for what they do and all you can think is "wow, this person was born to do this" well Tahereh Mafi was meant to be a writer, and I'm SO very thankful that she is! Thanks for the permanent goose bumps, tears, laughs, and never ending book hang over that you have rewarded me with.I am forever in your debt.

Unite Me - Tahereh Mafi Unite Me - Tahereh Mafi

Fracture Me is told from Adam’s perspective and bridges the gap between Unravel Me and Ignite Me. As the Omega Point rebels prepare to fight the Sector 45 soldiers, Adam’s more focused on the safety of Juliette, Kenji, and his brother. But nothing learned within the novellas is crucial to the plot of the main series. They’ll only provide extra details that make the novels more impactful. Now Kenji is in the center and a bunch of other character whom i forgot their names but somehow deserved their own chapters Tahere is a Muslim female writer. So i wished had she made J. The white blond and Warner a POC.bec as it is, it showed her white man hero complex I could go on for days... weeks... no years about this book. I would go so into detail and fine tooth comb and break down every chapter if I could, but I wont because I would never want to tarnish, or give out any details to someone who hasn't had the chance to read this masterpiece, because that's what this series is. It's the Mona Lisa of ya novels. A slight mysterious smile that you can't turn away from. It makes you want to scream out loud and kiss Tahereh's forehead and thank her for writing something so on point. so on point. Adam has my approval for a reason, I believe. They’ve been together for longer than he was with Juliette, and he loves his brother very much. It’s only natural that he’d prioritise the well-being of his one and only family unit. Despite this, his feelings for Juliette were no less genuine. That’s the real rub: how deeply did he first love her?

Still half asleep, I grab James by the collar and yank him down, shoving his head under the blanket. He shouts and I laugh, wrapping him up in the sheets until he can’t get out. The world its set in isn’t too bad but it isn’t focused on enough, or else we missed it in-between the personifications of the sun and metaphors about breathing. Its a typical dystopia, world gone wrong little group of rebels out to save everything. Except this group of rebels all have magical powers. Adam Kent? Is the equivalent to Tamlin the Tool. The amount of times I wanted to slap both him and Juliette- At that, I freeze, and James can feel it. He goes quiet in my arms, and I let him go. He untangles himself from my sheets, and we stare at each other.Well sweetheart, so did everone else in this series even your precious Warner, but you dont see them cower in the corner refusing to participate! The strikeouts took a few chapters to get comfortable with in Shatter Me & was a little distracting at first. However, the significance, importance, and absolute relevance of them become so PERFECTLY clear as Juliette's character transitions throughout a strikeout free Ignite Me. They served to show the magnitude of her personal growth, inner strength, & discovered clarity. So, please don't let the strikeouts deter you from this series! They weren't just for show! The same can be said of Find Me. It contains both Shadow Me and Reveal Me (also listed separately above), the two later novellas. Is Shatter Me Spicy?
