Save Energy And Reduce Exhaust Emission.In the mean time I have been trying it on our other cars, it seems to work ok on the X type, but doesn't find much on my 2.5. It does find the modules, but doesn't seem able to pull any fault codes from them. Everything I'm doing/trying, I'm cross referencing with SDD/IDS & as you would expect, that is finding all the faults I'm having to deliberately introduce, the iCarsoft isn't finding any. I've tried a new memory card & installed updated software on it, I now have versions 1.10 on the original card & 1.25 & 1.30 on the new card. V1.10 & 1.25 look & behave more or less identically, they find any 'P' codes in OBD, but nothing in the Jaguar software. V1.30 is visibly slightly different in the menu's, & again, it finds the 'P' codes with OBD, but using the Jaguar software, it did find some codes. Unfortunately, it found codes that were not there in IDS! Can't remember what the numbers were, but we had 'Solar radiation sensor short to battery'&'Theft attempt detected, engine immobilised', both in the PCM. Surprise surprise, the engine wasn't immobilised & would start & run while still displaying the code. Neither of those codes could be found in any module using IDS! I tried it out on a friends 02 & 06 Range Rovers, obviously using the LR software, & it seems to work ok on those, reading all the modules & finding a few stored codes. I was going to try it on our old 3.0l which is still in our possession waiting for me to decide to either scrap it, restore it or sell as spares/repair, but I didn't have a spare battery that would be good enough & didn't want to take one off any of the other cars, but will follow up on that at some point. iCarsoft LR V2.0 is a Professional and powerful vehicle fault diagnosis tool developed by iCarsoft Technology Inc.
