Before heading out, we made a goal to visit every local brewery to find the best beer on Oahu. Some spots impressed us while others left us wanting more (hell, some left us wanting less). Below we’ll highlight every spot and tell you what you need to know before your visit. The saving grace is the cool outdoor patio, making this a great spot to hang out for a while. But if I’m being honest, I don’t think the epic mural is enough to warrant a return from yours truly because the beers didn’t satisfy. The first thing you notice is the brew kitchen to the left where locals make their own batches. We watched for a minute before seating ourselves near the large menu and decided on a flight of IPAs. I enjoyed supporting this small business because of the humble vibe, these folks are making an effort to create some of the best beers on Oahu and it shows. These were some of the most creative beers we’ve had to date. activities take place within the United Kingdom, and any person resident outside the United Kingdom shouldListen, I’m all for supporting local businesses and I’m happy to give this Oahu brewery another try during our next trip to the island. But until then the verdict stands: this one didn’t hit the spot. Why would such a popular beer brand – one you are sure to see being sold in most bars and supermarkets across the UK – need to adapt to the alcohol-free trend? The answer is simple: consumer pull. If there’s one thing I love more than our trips to Hawaii, it’s beer. So it was only fitting that during our last month-long stay we would finally embark on a quest to find the best breweries on Oahu. Much like Aloha Brewing, we were very excited to try out the brews at Honolulu Beerworks. We’ve heard great things and some of our friends consider this the best beer in Honolulu. I’d quite like it to be sold in sandwich shops, as well as in pubs. I like it sitting somewhere in between. I think it’s kind of interesting to see where it goes.”
