About this deal

Alignment. Most minotaurs lean toward chaotic alignments, and they have a slight inclination toward evil.

Using This Book......................................... 4 Boggle ..................................... ................... .. 65 Dybbuk ................. ...................................... 113 The book was originally published as part of the Dungeons & Dragons Rules Expansion Gift Set on January 25, 2022. It was scheduled to have a standalone release on May 17, 2022; [5] [6] however, it released a day earlier on May 16. [1] Minotaurs are barrel-chested humanoids with heads resembling those of bulls. Their horns range in size from about 1 foot long to great, curling weapons easily three times that length. Theros minotaurs often carve their horns to sharpen their edges, etch symbols of power into them, or sheathe them in bronze to prevent them from shattering during battle. from the Last War (2019) , and Mythic Odysseys ofTheros Mahy, Lorenzo Mastroianni, Brynn Metheney, AaronChange Appearance. As an action, you can transform your appearance or revert to your natural form. You can’t duplicate the appearance of a creature you’ve never seen, and you revert to your natural form if you die. Age. Changelings mature slightly faster than humans but share a similar lifespan — typically a century or less. While a changeling can transform to conceal their age, the effects of aging affect them similarly to humans.

Grit. You have resistance to fire damage and psychic damage. In addition, when you are wearing no armor, your AC is equal to 11 + your Dexterity modifier. Sparkling with the musings of the wizard Mordenkainen, this tome features a host of creatures for use in the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game. Compiling and updating monsters that originally appeared in previous D&D fifth edition releases, these creatures represent some of the most benevolent and malevolent forces that D&D heroes might face. What's in Monsters of the Multiverse?

Alignment. Goliath society, with its clear roles and tasks, has a strong lawful bent. The goliath sense of fairness, balanced with an emphasis on self-sufficiency and personal accountability, pushes them toward neutrality. Stone's Endurance. You can supernaturally draw on unyielding stone to shrug off harm. When you take damage, you can use your reaction to roll a d12. Add your Constitution modifier to the number rolled and reduce the damage by that total. It would require some serious mental gymnastics to not call these updates and changes based on all the wording used in promoting this book. I think it's disingenuous and confusing to try and claim otherwise. It'd be much easier to say these changes/updates come with a cost due to them being in a new book and we'd (the customer) have to take it up with WotC for anything different. This book presents friends and foes for any D&D campaign, many of them accompanied by the comments of Mordenkainen.

Dungeons and Dragons Monsters of the Multiverse 5e

Darkvision. You have a cat's keen senses, especially in the dark. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray. Hospitality. You and the target of your Help action each gain a number of temporary hit points equal to 1d6 plus your proficiency bonus.

Thousands of years before humans came to Khorvaire, the land was dominated by wild ores and goblinoids of the Dhakaani Empire. The goblin empire scattered the ore tribes and forced them into harsh and unwanted lands: the swamps of the Shadow Marches, the Demon Wastes, and the depths of the Ironroot Mountains. But in the Shadow Marches, the ores learned the secrets of druidic magic from the dragon Vvaraak, becoming the first of the Gatekeepers. With the invasion of the alien daelkyr from Xoriat, the Gatekeepers put the dragon's teaching to the test, creating magical seals that bound the daelkyr in the depths of Khyber and protected Eberron against further incursion from the plane of madness. Feline Agility. Your reflexes and agility allow you to move with a burst of speed. When you move on your turn in combat, you can double your speed until the end of the turn. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you move 0 feet on one of your turns. Agile Climber. You have a climbing speed of 25 feet. You can't use your climbing speed while you wear medium or heavy armor. (If your campaign uses the variant rule for encumbrance, you can't use your climbing speed if you are encumbered.)

Review Summary

Whenever you use this trait, you gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus.
