If you’re thinking that cleaning it looks like a faff, the wooden tray lifts off the base so you can take everything out to the kitchen. The brewing process isn’t exactly quiet, but was quite satisfying to listen to while I snoozed, and watching the hot water shoot through the glass piping system was surprisingly exciting (given that it was at 6am). The Barisieur is absolutely stunning to look at, balancing the clean beauty of scientific glassware with the natural appeal of stained walnut.

Good design is at the core of every offering, each product adhering to our own strict guidelines on sustainability and functionality.

That being said, it turns out that it is more complicated than we originally planned for as we can not simply do a software upgrade via an app at this point.

We are desperately trying to get the Barisieur Grande in our warehouses for distribution by December 2022. A drawer on the front holds ground coffee and a scoop, and there's even a tiny cup for cold milk submerged in the base. I decided to set the device up to brew me a coffee as the alarm went off, but actually found that it took around five minutes for the coffee to be ready. However, I think the design speaks for itself, and you can see that a lot of time and effort has gone into create the chic alarm clock. In fact, you can even set it to brew 5 minutes before your alarm is due to go off, or up to 10 minutes afterwards.

An infrared sensor regulates the temperature to keep the milk around 3 degrees Celsius, which converts to about 37 degrees Fahrenheit. The laboratory-like glass portion looks rather complicated, but the Barisieur was very simple to set up and use.

The night before, you add water to the beaker and ground coffee to the steel filter and set the alarm. The Brewer can be quickly disassembled for easy storage and the brew chamber is dishwasher friendly.

A lot of people were reaching out to us and saying they love the current Barisieur but they required it to brew 2-cups for them and their partner. Based on these decisions, the device will brew you a delicious coffee at 94°C, helping to kickstart your day.
