It follows the life of this young girl who seems to be in her twenties who didn't live an interesting life which is why I think i didn't find the book that interesting, it seemed to be anytime the scene switched from deathly scary dolls to a girl with almost no backstory I lost interest almost everytime i read the book.

The Twisted Ones was published in hardback format in the United States and United Kingdom through Gallery/Saga Press in October 2019. All in all, I don't find myself recommending this book to anyone above the age of 12, it was not that good and didn't leave me with a good impression it is more for younger kids. When her dog, Bongo, leads her into the realm of the "twisted ones", Mouse barely escapes with her sanity intact.The graphic novels, in all honesty, so far have made me kind of wish that they didn’t exist as they make me feel like the original novels can’t work in this type of format. With electrifying art from Eisner Award-nominated artist Claudia Aguirre, and even more horror than ever before, fans won't want to miss this graphic novel adaptation straight from the mind of Five Nights at Freddy's creator Scott Cawthon.

Although Charlie, the main character, was EXTREMELY annoying, this still managed to be another successful cozy read for me. It felt like not as much effort was put into them maybe compared to the human characters which makes some sense considering they don’t show up as much compared to them, though it’s still a problem. I also don't really like the fact that we didn't get to see much of what happened at the end, it was a cliffhanger. The storytelling is fantastic, unlike The Silver Eyes graphic novel adaptation, this one clearly does not skip any important segments, it goes straightforward with its story and is fantastic to read, especially for those that do not want to go through the process of reading the novel adaptation, but want to get a clear understanding of the story itself. It's been a year since the horrific events at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, and Charlie is just trying to move on.

Clay Burke mentions “you ever know when a corpse may wander out of the shadows wearing a rabbit suit”, and honestly I found that quite funny. The twisted animatronics have such a monstrous feel to them, with boil like growths, mould and so many teeth they have the same features as the Fnaf four animatronics- which honestly are probably some of my favourite designs of the franchise. A year after the events of The Silver Eyes, Charlie tries to regain some sense of normality as a college student. He steals the animatronics knowing that there’s dead corpses of children from a case he worked on years ago and yet just keeps them in his basement.

The writing and story are very faithful to the original book, unlike the Silver Eyes this book made sure to leave every important and heartfelt scene in. The text “Five Nights at Freddy’s” on the cover was designed based on Montserrat Bold by Julieta Ulanovsky, and the font for “The Twisted Ones” as well as the author names is very similar to Hacked by David Libeau. Captured by legions of "twisted ones", they encounter Anna, a woman who has been trapped in the realm of magic since the late 1960s.

There is also no inconsistencies to the Novel adaptation's story like in The Silver Eyes, all in all I wish it was longer !
