This is great for courses that don’t have pre-mapped data, and I found it to be incredibly accurate. So if you are on a heavily-bunkered par 5 for example, you get information overload, such that I gave up even trying to use that feature. I was able to play with it on a single charge for an entire round and still had some juice left over when I finished, which is perfect considering the average round of golf takes four hours or so. The Golf Buddy Aim W11 is the only golf GPS watch on the market that has this feature, so if you’re looking for a way to take your game to the next level, then look no further!
The variety of features available on today’s golf watches surpasses what I ever expected and the Aim W12 is another example of a cutting-edge, feature-packed offering designed to give golfers an awful lot more than just your basic front, middle and back yardages. Colour course view and dual arc distance readings: Displays all important course information including distances to the front/centre/back of the green, hazards and hole layout. It’s always nice not having to worry about running out of battery while you’re playing; this watch definitely made my rounds a lot less stressful. Dual Green View ( C) will be available only when there are both of Left and Right Greens on your fairway. Although product information is regularly updated, Aldi is unable to accept liability for any incorrect information. Until last week I’d only ever owned a laser and I’ve had my current one for about five years but it still works fine.
There is no wind calculation or elevation taken into account here, so again, you need to be slightly experienced in golf to address these things. Once you see the EMERGENCY REBOOT screen, please release the Menu button but leave your unit connected to the USB cable until the process completes.
